I do miss Garrosh and Varian

Those were leaders that made you feel pride in their respective faction… But now, it is pityful what became of our leaders.

Anduin holds a cradle of hope for the Alliance.

Your queen is just nuts.

Varian was cool too

Being that my Horde main during cata was a troll, I can’t say as I felt much pride in the guy who tried to kill almost everything not orc shaped.

That doesn’t make much sense…in Cata he was a cool guy that didn’t like the bombing of the Druids in Stonetalon. Now if we’re talking about MoP then yes, I do agree.

Garrosh was a legend and we should have built his wall and forced Tanaris to pay for it

You are an orc no longer, and speak for none but yourself

We could of have a bright and prosperous future for the orcs, and anyone with the courage to stand with us

Vol’jin did not have that courage

Garrosh was a good bad guy. Not sure about the feeling faction pride thing.

Blizz does need to stop killing off interesting characters though.

Such a shame Shadowlands literally deleted Garrosh. Felt like such a waste.

I feel having an army of light confrontation, with the AU-Light-Garrosh into play - later killed through great efforts then having them ‘revive’ him with us trying to subvert their efforts - then ‘succeed’ with OUR Garrosh instead coming through and siding with us with a badass cinematic would’ve been much cooler.

But nahyeah, give us a a low CGI small-indi-company budget cinemati of him turning to ash to slay a villain we’d never heard of before instead. :unamused:

That’s basically one zone that was apparently the result of a miscommunication that went against what most of the rest of the game was building up for him.

This is the guy who, in the middle of undead infested Northrend, wanted to start a war with the Alliance simply because he wanted a supply line.

Vol’jin chose the wining side: That of the players.

Never get between a bunch of murderhobos and their purples.

He led the rebellion when Garrosh went insane.

You gotta respect the guy that had full control of the powers from the heart of a old god.

Agreed. Meanwhile we have green jesus “forgiving himself” (:face_vomiting:) for screwing over garrosh.

Garrosh so didn’t do that for me. He was awful to blood elves

Garrosh was a character I loved to hate. Thrall made him into a monster and passed off all responsibility.

Blizz writers made him into a monster. They wrote him as going crazy and trying to take an old god heart, almost destroying Pandaria. They also had him blow up Theramore after taking such offense to a similar action before.

But he was still an interesting bad guy. They could have had him be like Doctor Doom. This type that always seeks out tremendous power. They killed him off to get him out of the way and then had him disenchanted.

I know about Garrosh’s story and what he’s done. Thrall played a tremendous role in that story. He didn’t simply wake up crazy one day in MoP, there was a build up to it.
