This week I finally tried out Zekvir’s lair. With a 580 ilvl. It took me 4 attempts to finally kill it 
I’ve only been doing 4 delves on +8 a week myself. to burned out running 4 more. Not like the vault will give me anything besides cloaks anyway lol
Then after that do some more T8 delves to give more slots for next Tuesday until ALL THREE are filled. Non-bountiful delves count towards that.

Awesome! You will need to do another T8 Delve. If you want to unlock the second slot in the Great Vault you will need to do a total of 4 x T8 Delves and then 8 x T8 Delves to unlock the third slot.

Wasn’t easy but I did it
My story is pretty much the same.
Gave up pugging for loot in group activities a long time ago.
LFR was the only thing I really bothered with and not every week.

this makes me happy. my wife is in the same shoes as you. delves was the best thing to happen for her and players like her.
now if blizzard could only expand on this and have like t12+ and drop heroic loot with mythic vault slots then i think it would be safe to say that they would win the internet.

Which weekly gives raid level gear? All mine were useless 584s…
The first two bosses on LFR drop 584. I believe the LFR gear you can get from the Vault is on the same track: Veteran.
Hell yeah get that bread.
