In-game UI modification and bag compression are known features. You can YouTube it.
I hate Bartender, I can never use any toys or copy user names or whatever with this addon on. But I’ll probably will still use Bartender because I can’t customize my action bars the way I want to. They’re only allowing three main action bars and two side bars. I use about five bars.

I would not do that if I were you…keep bartender your still going to need it… I’m currently in beta the new ui is a mess…they moved everything around…good luck trying to find everything.

same!!! the new ui is so good. Played with it for a few hours a few days ago. Its also great that i can just export my ui so friends can copy it if they choose

Yeah the new UI is loads better but it won’t be replacing addons like that for me. There’s small customizations I’m too used to that the new UI still doesn’t allow.

I use all the bars Bartender provides
lets hope the in game version is as good or better than the mod
but it is time Blizz accepted that some similar mods of a few types are used by the majority of players. Deadly Boss Mods Gatherer Bartender Heal bot etc
For those of you who have tried the new UI, how does it compare to ElvUI?
I don’t think it’s a mess, I think it’s actually pretty nice but the thing is, I feel really restricted.
It doesn’t really compare to ElvUI. It’s a bit more similar to Bartender. But there are some similarities with ElvUI. You can move profile frames and such, but other than that it’s more of your typical built in WOW Bartender.

That’s not bad. Honestly it’s better to keep it simple. ElvUI takes a while to setup with all its options.
I agree less addons are better… if now they only had a 'sort by number of battle pet ’ as a feature that I didn’t need to use an addon for.
ElvUI bothered the hell out of me, it was such a tedious process.
Examples you cannot move change edit the bag bar nor can you move or change the micromenu bar without using bartender…ooh…they are using action bar 1 for dragon riding…so if you have some spells on that bar and switch to dragon riding your other spells get knocked off and get re arranged…that what I have experienced…unless they fixed it but I doubt it.

Lol I feel ya, it took me forever to setup my profile. So much so that I just don’t bother anymore and import the same one onto whatever character I play. Even on classic.
