i think tentaclatrix is saying “i guess everyone just wants free 110s” because some people are complaining that the exp nerf is too small

If people are saying that then I guess I can see his point. Honestly I was surprised how generous the 40% was. You add in the heirlooms and if you can find a potion or two you could be 110 very quickly.

They still have a long way to go to fixthis mess of an xpack. But it’s a start. The less time to level the better.

I like the changes, but I’m saving my excitement till I can fly around Zuldazar on my Zandalari druid.

I’m not super excited for 8.1, but I like that there’s some good changes for a lot of players. I’m excited for 8.2 though, where we’ll get another mega-dungeon. I’m hoping it’ll be as fun for me as kara was.

Obviously, i’m happy to see some pretty significant changes for feral, shadow, and prot warrior and at least some slight changes to guardian – it just doesn’t directly impact me.

Yes indeed my friend - in addition, we will be seeing vendors being reintroduced. Vendors that give gear, vendors that give cosmetics, and so on. Vendor fun for all! /moo

Steps into the right direction is important for Blizzard at this point. A lot of the community is fairly unhappy with BFA and rightfully so. But improvement is better than stagnation or working backwards. /clap

I see you didn’t mention shamans, yes actually their changes aren’t really worth mentioning. I’m dumping mine actually, seems like blizz wants to grind that class into the dust.

Honestly, I’m going back to unsubbing. 8.1 is literally the same crap we have now - without fixes.

Island Expedition - yup, see we still haven’t done much innovative design here, still a boring, 3 person instanced event.

Warfront - interesting yes, very horribly implemented, no balance to make it fun or entertaining, more time gates/fake grinds.

Pet battling - Not a pet battler, at least it’s an addition for those that do.

I think that’s pretty much it, major content update - doesn’t do much. They aren’t fixing problems, they aren’t changing systems. They’re simply adding in their boring designs and continuing with it. If it wasn’t black and white already on the hatred for this expansion, they go and release more boring crap.

Just because I have 2 boring and very easy war-fronts doesn’t make it fun.

Make the game interesting, rewarding, difficult or at least add difficulties. And most of all, they need to stop thinking they were the ones with the amazing game design, riding on previous glory. Nobody cares who the devs are, we care for a good game.

I’m not overly excited about the reduced experience requirements for leveling as I really don’t think it is all that bad as it is right now. Although, I do enjoy leveling an alt here and there considering I don’t find the end game content all that exciting right now.

i have TONS of toons i stopped leveling and are gathering rested waiting for the patch, little noam. i couldn’t be more happy with that. it seems to be adding cool stuff to do for my casual self as well. i’m really looking forward to it. even if you ally devils get access to the warfront first. :stuck_out_tongue:

We are currently levelling horde characters for the first time.
It looks like they have reduced the amount of xp the quests are rewarding…
4k for dungeon quests and other quests are rarely over 10k.
Can anyone confirm?

better gearing at max level,

Gear upgrades arent until end of January, the wq gear sucks, BFA = if you dont raid, pvp or do mythics there is ZERO for you.

New pet battles?

There are pet battles now…they ALL award azerite.

ALL of them.

Any good gear upgrades for my toons until then? Nope. Professions? Make 300 gear. 300.

Worthless.

Is there a feature coming in 8.1 that you are disappointed in or feel is insufficient to counter your current opinion of the xpac ?

Daily wq chest back

More gear wq and less azerite…for the last three days, did anyone else notice that what you got for the daily emissary was 1000 azerite?

No gear no weapons no trinks no rings no pets no mounts no armour no daggers, no offhands no herbs no prof materials…

I dont want more azerite.

I dont want war resources.

I want gear I can target not more RNG.
