happens all the time to all my characters, just like the Lua Error dialog box that greets me front and center upon login

The error messages may be caused by reputation tabards or others that provide on-equip buffs.
All of my characters wearing Classic reputation tabards (to get rep for heritage armor) get the “can’t use” or “not ready” error on login. Sometimes the error doesn’t occur if I have an active effect from a toy, or sometimes other types of buffs, or sometimes just for reasons.
But removing the tabard has fixed it for all of my characters.

I get a lot of “I cant use that yet” or, “That item is not ready yet”
Every day on all my 120’s for the past year… at first I thought it was due to an addon… but it happened the other day when I loaded up WoW on my laptop without addons to finish unlocking the Zandalari.
i hear this on what seems like all of my max toons as well… i thought it was just me from being off of my meds for 2 weeks.

It’s not that… I went back and switched the order hall option so that that doesn’t keep getting added to my action bar. But I still get the stupid “I can’t do that yet!” message.

I haven’t had it added multiple times, usually it just adds it once and that’s it.
The bug showed up shortly after the Battle of Dazor’Alor raid, and was almost certainly introduced because of bugs with the temporary faction-swap racial ability and automatically putting the ability on the action bar.
Fixing something for current content apparently takes priority over not breaking something from a previous expansion.
It happens on all my toons and I have very few add-ons. With that said, it hasn’t bugged me enough to disable all and see if it still occurs…YET.

yeah, and i don’t even have the ritual of doom class hall thing… much less on my other 11 120’s who aren’t locks.

its coming from the crowns that drop off of Opulence that you pry a gem out of. it has a 20 hour cooldown. if the cd is reset you wont hear the messages when logging in . But if the cd hasn’t reset yet you will hear your character saying one of the messages.

It is a feature. I mean you aren’t even trying to pry a gem out when you log in!

You guys need to have a Lua grabber. I kept noticing multiple instances of the, “That’s not ready yet” text so out of curiosity I downloaded an error grabber that recorded that. It spams it like thirty freaking times. I’m wondering if it’s like a check for the on use trinkets. My mage gets the errors, but my Hunter doesn’t. Mage has an on use trinket. Hunter does not. Maybe we log in naked and it adds our gear at the load screen?
Does that to me too…i cant use that right now…when i log in…
I can’t equip that.
