So i ended up getting duelist first day, got my shackles of malediction, ive made it to 2131 winning like 15 games from duelist to now, still cant upgrade my maledict to duelist rank for some reason. and i get the message, “Win a Rated PvP match at the rank of Duelist or better this week.” is blizzard gating players for reaching duelist in week 1? or am i doing something wrong
please let me know if you know why.

Yeah it’s capped at Rival this week. Mythics are capped at +10 as well.
sad that blizz has to gatekeep good players cuz bad players cry too much, lol good to see ya here xD
i mean this has been a thing for years now lol. there’s limitations on the pve side as well with keys only rewarding gear up to +10.
Blizzard really thought this one through, the reasoning is really simple.
They didn’t want maledict to ruin the race to world first by allowing it to be upgraded to duelist quality
