We have the mighty orc, the clever troll, the noble tauren, the ruthless undead, and now pretty boy elves…for the cool faction… specifically, a million blood elf hunters named Legolas. In the tbc the races should have been worgen for the horde and elves for the alliance. Blood elves just throw the vibe completely off for the horde.
The only way I would accept blood elves into the horde if they were all sickly mana addicts, complete with discolored flesh, and looking like they are really sick or something.
Don’t make me bring Michael Scott in here to yell in the negative. What Horde should have gotten was not Draenei but The Broken. Alliance could have whichever fruity elfs they wanted and given shaman to dwarfs.
That makes 0 sense, Since the broken are only known as the broken because the Orcs slaughter them and they had to go on the run. Unless you are going for some kind of slave roleplay.
Man, I am willing to give y’all the barbie elfs you want. We could still keep elfs and a space race for TBC re re release. But I don’t want the Draenei. The Broken fit more thematically (UGLY amirite) with the Horde and our mudhut way. That’s it. Superficial not some deep dark conspiracy to besmirch the lore.
Forsaken paladins, as my brother from another moother said, would be the move for Horde. Solar-powered tauren can come to the party … later.
Just an opinion and meant in fun.
Although if we had to take elfs all over again the OP had a decent idea. Let’s have the Wretched!
I’d really wish that we could skip Naxx and have pre patch for tbc already.Expediting over to TBC would be really exciting instead of having to wait through a short duration of Naxx.
