I solo it as a healer, not worth the extra scaling in higher masks imo.
they are, but it changes every run which one is bad.
tldr : some are good. one is bad
A weak aura I use is
You click on the color that matches the bad one when you find it, and it populates letting you know what each color does that run

This is a very nice explanation and, although I heard the visions were similar to the original, I had thought the Handy Notes addons would also show the update for TWW. Appreciate your information.

I did notice that a full no mask clear was stupidly faster in frost spec. Erased most things. Which is interesting because in 11 delves itās much faster as blood since everything has huge HP in delves. The risk of dying is higher as DPS there, but in visions, DPS spec so far has been better than tank.
I watched a video of someone under 600ilvl on Evoker do it and thought if they can do it I can do it a t 670ā¦Did the exact same strat and it worked with heaps of sanity left over.

Same, I have been trying and trying and every run something else comes up random, attack or ? stun or? Itās almost like being up against a randomized algorithm, all is stacked against you kind of thing. Every run something different happens with just one mask. Do good with NONEā¦why should it be this ridiculous to accomplish with just one mask? I donāt think these are āalgorithmādā correctly?
I hate HATE the gear āalgorithmā scaling that if you worked for high gear it just doesnāt matter, you are scaled down. I feel like this is happening in Horrific Visions too! I got the greater Helm runeā¦ makes NO diff? Why?
Nothing like this is happening. Thereās no gear scaling in visions.
I can zoom thru the NO MASK clear on my main and an alt ā¦ sanity to spare but canāt get thru with Bridge mask or Long Night masksā¦ why? Every run, there is some random thing thrown over and over and I die? This MAKES NO sense. Especially with the āBurned Bridgeā? just donāt walk back to soon!? But it doesnāt matter. I had a āuploadā from Blizz today ? why? what was that? Was it AI screwing with my game? Please, this to me is ridiculous. How is ONE mask that is supposed to be mostly benign if you follow itās mechanics.
I have over and over and over on two of my toonsā¦ I watch videos, and help sources and what their experience is NOT mine. We hear more and more about the 'manipulations of AIā¦ I pay for this gameā¦ but Blizz does not like me? Could this be it?

PSS NONE of my stuns work? why do I get stunned, my toon runs out of control, regardless, but I mostly ācake walkā with out any masks. Something is wrong! Will I get a new download from Blizz AIā¦ that will fix that? I canāt do any runs at all? This is truly how this is playing.

You donāt understand mechanics, so you are dying.
Burned bridge creates puddles when you move. Donāt stand in them. (-30 sanity per tick.)
And kill / interrupt mobs that stun you (the dominators.) The 3 pack is kinda dicey.
Cause if one stuns you, the others can chain depending on RNG and you get perma cced and die.
I tried to get 8 mask (and failed ) because I make mistakes too many heh.
Is this gear score only!? I watched a video of a French 679 DemonHunter run thru the entire run with ALL masks in like 12 mins. It was amazing? Maybe if you have to have this kind of gear score, it would be nice if Blizz would let us know that? Why the the top gear being offered only 658?
I am beyond āfrustratedā. Just my opinion. If I can easily go through a no mask but die over and over with just one supposedly ābenignā maskā¦ what is the algorithmic H311 going on?
Youāre not doing mechanics and dying as a result of not doing mechanics.
Sure sometimes the mechanics overlap if your dps isnāt high enough but thatās not consistent enough to brick every run.

Tbh idk what you are doing. 1 mask is basically nothing.
If you have a follower, disable them.
If you are struggling too, I would look at your build and rotation. I took my 640 dh tank through a 4 mask and she did fine.
I thought they were playing on seven or eight? heh.

Well if they only have 1, odds are itās the long night. Canāt get past that one if you continually brick it

Well, how happy for you! Maybe then it is only class specific? NOā¦ I donāt accept this. I figure it is āalgorithmsā. Did you have a download today? Just a random download from Bliss? No one is answering that? What was that?
What spec are you playing on out of curiosity? And are you using Soridormi when youāre playing with it?
Turning on one mask should only bump up enemy health and damage by 25% per mask plus whichever mask effects youāre taking, which Long Night is one of the harshest ones since it halves your sanity instantly making any sanity loss effectively twice as rough
