For the life of me I cannot just focus on a main. I have 5 level 60 toons, and they range from 265-280 iLevel.
I play on my Destro Warlock for a couple hours in a BG. See a rogue killing everyone, so I get on my rogue. I’m on my rogue in a BG and see hunters melting folks, so I get on my hunter. See a UHDK agitating spell casters, then get on my DK.
I cannot focus just one toon? Are there any of yall that have this same problem? Asking for a friend 
Roll a dice six sided dice and whatever number it lands on play that character for the day.
If it lands on six re-roll, and no you’re not alone. I switch between my warrior and mage every couple of hours.
Awesome. I thought I was all alone on this. Too bad I just cant put all their abilities in one toon. Then I could call that my main lol.
FFXIV encourages this - you have all the jobs on one character. It’s great, the one downside is that then you miss trying different races, because you have every class on one character. I still ended up playing alts haha.
I switch maybe once or twice a day between toons, but usually I kind of stick with one for the most part. Been playing this Death Knight for a while recently, just leveling and doing quests in the Twilight Highlands with Chromie Time.
But I certainly don’t stick with just a main. Back in MoP I used to all the way through Legion. But now I have 5 fully-devoted toons each filling out every profession except for engineering and jewelcrafting [Which my Dracthyr will fill in for] and I level them up when I want to and give them love when I feel like it.
However things are going to be different with my new Dracthyr. Don’t know if I’ll be getting off that thing for a looong time.
Lol I have 22 (?) toons at 60 because I don’t like off specing. I don’t play them all but I do rotate fairly quickly. For instance, last week I did my warlock, havoc, Ele shaman, MM hunter, arcane mage, WW, and shadow priest to full vaults on M+ and some on the raiding vaults where I felt like it.
I may have too much free time. But I also get bored easily and when I want to do a specific thing, well, I have a class for that.

I don’t see what the problem is. Variety is the spice of life. Clayd’s idea of rolling dice is great, especially if you can’t decide which alt to play. I personally go with whatever mood I’m in, or what particular goal I’m working on.
Well I sit in the log in screen at just look at em for a minute trying to decide who is first. I mostly PVP, no Mythic+…And I guess I pick on mood like you.
youre lucky, there are only 2 classes i really mesh well with after trying them all.
the main thing limiting me is i cant stand pets of any form - but i got other quirks too lol
Welcome to the altoholic life. I am also juggling multiple characters. I just can’t really stick to a main because I get bored easily.
Nah i played my rogue for a while, so i stick to him… i have alts i just mess around on them sometimes to farm gold
