I Buy Boosts and Am Not Ashamed

I don’t care. I pay them gold for a service and they provide it to me with no issues? They can call me raw sewage privately for all I care. It happens everywhere in this world where customer service is provided.

I dunno I guess in theory it’s not against tos. However it’s kinda in a way cheating imo.

But since it’s the new model for gameplay, why pay the middleman. Just make gear purchasable with gold if we are going down that road and everyone is ok with it

I care nothing of what they think or say. Just do the job

I sell boosts. I appreciate you paypigs.

Why would they do this? There is no benefit from that and sales and carry groups want repeat customers.

Besides that, who cares. You aren’t in it to make friends

If Blizzard thought they could get away with it…

Obviously it’ll just be my word, but my guild does boost every week(2 full mythic clears and a heroic boost), and we’ve been doing boost every day since CN. I can safely say we have never once talked bad about buyers outside of, “Why are they trolling us.” and we do not keep any blacklist or anything of the sort. We’ve even privated logs for them. It’s not some awful world, sure there are bad players in each group but I wouldn’t demonize an entire group of players cause of bad apples.

Then that sounds like these are the kinds of people you don’t want to play with, and should therefore, ignore them. Take your business elsewhere.

Yes! That exactly.

hence why i said MOST

Even most is in bad taste, cause that implies a majority. If it was that common I feel I would’ve come across it myself. Have you had a bad experience before or something that makes you feel that way?

Let’s say you are a baseball player. When it’s time for the big game, instead of pitching for a win, you pay a recently retired hall of famer to pitch for you. He wins the game and you put the trophy on your shelf so you can brag about how good you are.

Those of you that don’t see how messed up that is, keep buying/selling boosts.

OP, people spend too much time worrying about what other people think. If you want to use a game-legal service, then use the service. In fact, you should create a toon called BoosterBaby and then only use boosted stuff. Advertise openly that you bought a run for every single thing you’re using. Put that crap in a /say macro attached to your primary ability.

TL; DR: Play your own game. Ignore the haters. If it REALLY bothers them, then do everything you can to rub all your boostedness in their faces until they rage quit.

i have ran a carry dc for gold only in another mmo where the vast majority of the buyers were ex-wow players…i witnessed how toxic players are towards the ‘idiots who pay me gold or give me cash’…you will not convince me that the carry scene in this game is no different lol

I like how you think

The only thing I ever buy with my golds is end of the expansion AOTC’s runs from guilds if I come in late because I like the mounts. I had to get the BFA one because I came back to play 3 days before expansion end and I loved that dargon but had no gear xD. I’m not sure why people get so worked up over what other people do as long as they aren’t hurting anyone or breaking the rules who cares. Go spend your energy elsewhere.

Unfortunately, a common theme I see with people who shout us down is “you can’t have what I have!”

“You can’t have what I have… unless I approve of the way in which you earned it. And by the way, I’m going to have a problem with every single way earned it.”

Yuppp. And I don’t even want to ask what the opinion of organized free boosting is at that point (e.g. HL) since I’m inclined to believe the view will be exactly the same.
