I bought Dotty

Oh it’s constantly out and prancing around. I’m even going to level it and do pet battles with it, then train it to burn down orphanages.

I would normally suggest against microtransactions, but i should let you know that i (as well other anybody else) have no power over your buying decisions, i can only give advice and you are free to take it or not…

… If you like the little llama, go for it. :+1: :llama:

I pulled my own name for secret santa and didn’t tell anyone. I am getting myself the plush :stuck_out_tongue:

You didn’t buy Dotty. You donated money to charity and got Dotty for free.

That is what big charity would like you to think.

yes you are evil, you gave money to blizzard when they put a very clear cap on how much of it would go to charity, shame on you.

Which no charity pet has ever reached. I doubt this one will be any different.

Your going to h.e. double :ice_hockey::ice_hockey:

I bought Dotty too! And got her up to 25.

Her bouncing makes me happy

I’m trying to resist the plushie, as I have too many as it is (including several from the Blizzard shop), but I’ll probably cave and get it soon.

What’s with the distinction of sub based?

And one of each for all my friends lol.

people think that since this is a sub based game, that absolutely everything needs to be earned in game. and that the cash shop is somehow ruining the game even though you can only get cosmetics and pets from it.

So… if we buy a token with in-game gold, to put 15$ on our blizzard balance, and buy it through out blizzard balance, and don’t pay a dime, and blizzard has to stlil donate the 10$ does that make it better to the people whom apparently decided to be outraged at charity?

I had too much wine to figure that out.

I always say it, until the cash shop has over 460 items like some other sub mmo its all moot whines. There is offering a few neat mounts and pets and then there’s… that level of greed.

I would like more in the game but I feel like we’ve actually been getting a lot of neat ones in game lately and the store stuff has that extra polish that makes me feel alright about paying a bit more.

I don’t think any company will go all the way back these days… I miss when PC gaming was 100% passion but I can still see enough of it to continue.

Technically you made Blizzard an extra $5, so it is doubly evil.

Eh, but I didn’t spend money on it, and I just spent gold, and got a pet.

Nah, at this point it still goes to charity. Blizzard definitely hasn’t hit 3 million on it yet. So the OP is not really doing what you are saying.

The OP is just making it more likely they’ll have a charity pet again.

Jeez, I guess you people really dislike the make a wish kids? Wow, how mean!

But you enabled someone else spending $20 to get the gold which then converted to $15 to you.
