Interesting. He was running vers/crit. I don’t know how he managed 26% vers. I barely hit 20% when I hit the AH for vers gear. And his abilities were ranging outside the P1 decay AoE.
This guy could be on to something, though.
you can stand a little on the decay, the visual is slightly larger than the actual range. and if you jump, your thrash/swipe range is increased just enough
You don’t get to have everything just because you paid for it. Catering to the lowest player is removing anything remotely challenging. There needs to be a cut off somewhere.
Put in the effort to complete the challenge if you want the solely cosmetic reward.
Not everything is supposed to be hello kitty mode.

I agree, it’s still too easy for specs like Fury War, Frost Mage, and WW, those need to be scaled up in difficulty to match the other classes.

This really can only be known with proper stats from blizz about the real completion rate.
I accept the fact that maybe I cant do it, I’m not 32 anymore like when i started EverQuest, but Blizz may have made a mistake by making MT as hard as they have because one sure-fire way to make an unhappy customer even more unhappy is to hand them content they cant do and dangle a prize they cant have. Might be the breaking point for some.

It absolutely is. Anyone(Like me) who did it in legion could tell you that. Its balanced around systems no longer in place. When the best of the best players just hardly clear the fight after many failed attempts it needs to be toned down. Impossible? No, but it should be about skill of your class, not hurr durr I use x trinket or Getting lucky with RNG.

Only thing I notice is increase damage other than that its not that bad too many people over exaggerating.
And I did it back in Legion the month it released
You realize that there are thousands upon thousands of companies turning a profit by selling exclusive goods? Scarcity is a core part of economics.
There are countless items, mounts, etc. that are easily obtainable. Having a fraction of all items locked behind a challenge is good for business. Without challenges, people lose interest.
you can do that very easily with shadowlands pvp gear. or with a bit more effort using pvp dungeon/raid gear with verse. the greens and AH verse gear is more balanced stat wise which may make it harder. 
Edit: that being said, Pumps (the one who made the referenced video) made another video using only green gear off the AH and junk trinkets, with no consumables to re iterate that its not necessary. it certainly helps but its technically doable without it.

I really hate people with this mentality. They should be happy that the game has different content for different skills. I’m never going to become a cutting edge raider, but I’m happy it exists in the game. I’ll never be a Gladiator, but I’m happy it’s in the game. It’s the same for the MT, if you’re a casual and can’t do it, then go farm battle pets or something else of your appropriate level, the game has something for every one.
If you can’t do content, don’t be mad at the game, be mad at yourself for not having the skill to complete something thousands of others have already completed.

Honestly it doesn’t need more tuning, just allow Domination Shards to work in MT, Bam…problem solved, not the set bonus, just the shards itself.
Players are forced to use older gear or refarm gear to get bonus sockets, which seems to have annoyed a lot, just allow players to get the Domination Shard effect not the tier bonus…

I hate people with THAT mentality. How can you blame yourself or anyone for not having the skill to do something? You have the skill or you don’t. Some people are gonna be better in a video game then you are. I’m not gonna be mad at myself. Maybe I will wish I was more skilled at the game, but I will be happy with the things I AM skilled at. (I once built a house of cards 11 stories high, took patience, something few in this game have)
Oh, and i can make awesome mac and cheese

Yeah. I saw that video as well. Especially when he made it because someone tried to call him out and say it was because of his i250 gear (huh?). But again, he was heavily stacked in versatility. Far more than I ever got.
I still believe tuning is needed. But his videos show its entirely possible without breaking the bank. It’s making me want to keep at it.
Because it’s your own fault? If it’s doable by many people then it’s doable. It took me 200 tries to do it back in Legion on my BrM/MW when MT first came out, it was hard and felt like I was throwing myself against a wall, but when I finally got it it became one of my most memorable moments of the game.
If you don’t want to do that, you’re not forced to, but you should accept it’s ON YOU, not the game. Instead of crying for nerfs, go look at guides, get some WAs that help out and keep trying. I don’t want the MT to be another participation trophy because whiners kept whining until Blizz nerfed it down to where you don’t need to try.

Oh u mean being lazy and not putting in the work. I agree with that. I suspect I will know balance MT challenge as well as I know ICC by the time I’m done.
I honestly thought it would be easy, like soloing torghast. boy was I wrong.
So the people playing on alts are out of luck then? as don shards are not exactly easy to just have if you have none.
skill is a trained thing, and you can practice the mage tower and develop your skill.
I think you are referring to like natural talent?
did you do it on the first try, or did you have to practice?
I say allow dom shards gem bonus (not the set bonus) because the majority of players on mains are also struggling and losing socket bonus’s because dom shards effect mean nothing, as of Alts situation you mentioned, many Alts would already have normal gear to socket up be it through the many currencies in game….
Perfect example, I have many friends who strictly raid, be it LFR all the way through to mythic, with one have CE Sylvanas, most have 3-5 dom shards sockets, that’s 3-5 useless sockets that have “A ZERO 
“ use in MT.
