Challenging content is fine, even if I cannot complete the challenge.
I know it’s doable because I’ve seen people do it. I can say it’s fine as a whole because I know there hasn’t been a single one that hasn’t been completed.
To piss even more people off and get rid of the casuals who resubbed for this event permanently. Now that the elites have completed it with their timewalking gear, it’s time to eliminate that option for people who are only just starting on their sets.
sorry I prefer to just get good at the game. Alot of people have completed the challenge with SL gear. You just need to not play stupid

First of all you don’t need to be 36/36 to get the mount. You need to do the 7 different encounters.
And I’m not 7/7 because I don’t play 7 specs well. I play 1 class well, and I have some rust to brush off on 2-3 other specs.
If I want the mount I’ll work on the specs I need. I don’t just expect to log onto a Warrior and get the tower down first week it’s up.

For sure, all the mechanics are a cake walk to do while also meeting the dps requirements before Kruul 1 shots you with annihilate without the Legendaries and Artifacts that made the fight reasonably difficult and were literally created around and not the gold sink, slog it’s turned into.

I do hundreds of BC dungeons every year. The BC normal dungeons needed to farm that gear have had mechanics and mob difficulty increased that makes them brutal. I know, I helped someone farm up a set. So gratz on wrecking that content to crush those levelers! That’ll make them want to pay you real money for carries when they reach 60 so you won’t have to get a job.

We’re not under attack by casuals, we’re entitled by bad, entitled players who want to remove any challenge they encounter instead of learning to overcome the challenge.
Mage tower is a challenge mode. It should be challenging.

The marketing department worked hard to convince average players to come back to do this content. Lots of players resubbed for it. Now it turns out the plan was to show them what devs really feel about them and what trash the community has become.
Hint to elitists trashing casuals in this thread: The fact that you are a really good player at a videogame is in no way any sort of indication that you have social skills. The inability to treat other human beings civilly and accept that they are not exactly like you and don’t want to be is a sign that you have no social skills.
The devs have decided to sink the ship with all aboard, and the elitist jerks are celebrating that casuals will go down with the ship, even if they do too.

While the Challenges were considered quite difficult for most of Legion, we’re tuning the encounters in Timewalking to normalize player power, with the intention of providing a meaningful level of difficulty to current players.
So acc to developers/admins/w/e the current difficulty of MT is lower than original MT
Instead we got a harder tower with crappy recolored recolors nobody asked for.
The funny thing is that the same people who made blizz bring back mt are the ones suffering and those who revolted against it are i guess enjoying it lol

The word “meaningful” means whatever they mean it to mean at any given time. Nothing less and nothing more. Surely you became aware of this when we were introduced to the concept of “meaningful choice” where players were told they were going to have to decide whether to go with cosmetics or player power for the entire expansion, or long stretches thereof.
