Do the people who did dozens or hundred+ attempts think this is good content for solo play?
For someone like me who can’t go more than 15-20m without a distraction/interruption I’m either going to wait for big nerfs or just never do it.
I am not going to slam my head into a virtual wall for hours and hours over some cosmetics. I doubt I am alone.
As a point of reference, I loved Horrific Visions. Solo challenge that you could customize the difficulty to match your ability. I soloed 5 mask runs on a few characters and got nice rewards along the way.
Shadowlands tossed that design out the window for things like Torghast and now this weird version of the Mage Tower that won’t get easier with time like it’s previous iteration.
How so? Most of your sentences aren’t worth a reply, they’re just tiled ramblings, and you haven’t proved anything I said wrong because you respond to nothing.
Far as I’m concerned you’re not talking.
Loool, you think i care about anything you do. How utterly pathetic, what a petulant child.
I care that it’s overtuned and trolls are lying about it, simple as that, the transmogs are subpar and the mount is boring, only worthwhile addition is the Guardian skin, speaking of:
Still waiting for your Guardian Druid video.
Yeah i’ve inspected a lot of them, filled to the brim with enchants, pots and consumables and the craziest combination of trinkets out there.
So because they don’t do it the way you expect them to (which makes me laugh btw, because you should be enchanting your gear all the time, and be sing food buffs, pots, and flasks to optimize your character anyways), their experience doesn’t count?
I think it is. It’s okay for goals to a take a while to complete. You don’t need to get everything on the first attempt, or the 10th attempt, or even the 100th attempt. Part of the fun is continually pushing yourself and growing in skill and ability. Experimenting with different builds and playstyles, etc. That is the definition of personal progression. That is fun.
How well is that going to work for people not doing it during this 4 week period when it is only up once a week every 4 months? Should they schedule vacation time around the thing?
Long term, the design of the MT is flawed. In a bubble right now it kinda works for some but in the future it’s going to be a whole other beast.
If they want the reward bad enough, maybe they should. Otherwise they can play after work to get experience. It’s not like the challenge is going to change every time the MT is up.
The other solution would be to remove the challenge all together which then invalidates the point of having a challenge mode
It’s not overturned because you don’t want to spend money to enchant your gear and get some consumables.
You’re locked into a rigid way of play, and that is why you will continue to fail where others have succeeded
It is overtuned, i showed you the math, we have no Legion artifacts for the extra damage it gave us, the extra damage this fight was originally designed around.
Keep crying if you want, it doesn’t change facts, you don’t disprove math with experiences, sorry.
Just to double check, every single person saying it is fine and doesn’t need to be changed has the new mount, right? 36/36, right? Has personally experienced the content and beaten it without using the now fixed exploits and busted items, right?
Because a quick glance says this is not true and people are just trying to act like elitists without realizing once this becomes a 2-3 times a year event it’s going to be a whole lot harder to “practice” the harder fights.
Without the extension we’d only have a few days left as is and under future normal circumstances it ended 3 days ago…
Speaking personally for the enhancement challenge - yes, I beat it without any special gear or any exploits (not aware of any).
I ran Lashing Flames, maintained FS as best I could on all three. I mase sure to interrupt the Runeseer frequently while standing on Jarl, forcing them together to AoE.
And the other 35 versions of the MT?
You beat all those too, right?
If not you can’t really speak to the overall difficulty and say “it’s fine” if you haven’t done them all and should maybe accept the fact that some people have legitimate complaints.
