I am sick of seeing in M+ game finder... Shadow Priest and AUG only

It’s so difficult talking to you guys as everything is so literal it’s annoying. Literally all of your are missing the forest for the trees. So blindsided by what’s right in front of you and unable to see the whole picture.

Ahh… and I am the one thats blindsided huh? Players chasing .001% gains that arent there, classes not being brought to high end content. Hmm I wonder whos at fault for that and sorry to tell you its not Blizzards fault. Its the player base. Players control the Meta. If your main isnt in that meta well thats to bad.

Im not going to apologize for being literal about this because thats the truth. You and others can blame Blizzard for this all you want but no matter what Blizzard does the " Meta " will always be there. And you can thank the players for that.

Ok that’s it you get Keanu Reeves:

Ahh I see you’re one of those folks who ignore keywords and points just to warp the discussion to your internal narrative.
PERCEPTION:

  1. a way of regarding, understanding, or interpreting something; a mental impression.

It is the perception of players that class X is less valuable than class Y.
It is the perception of players that you MUST have an Aug and SPriest to succeed.

It’s impossible for blizzard to fix how players perceive class X or class Y.

They can nerf or buff things till the cows become Demon Hunters but that’s not going to fix how players perceive a class or spec.

Thank you for proving my point.

At that point deep breath is a better alternative, better yet it just saves the point to grab something like the landslide stun.

Because then having a warrior or mage would be better than just aug in general based on group comp since it’s just a minor temporary buff at this point which ends up defeating the point of aug in general.

I mean its a variable but it does work out in BGs.

Which part is perception? We have reliable means of calculating output. We know which classes and specs output more.

We know the value of group buffs. CC. Utility. We know which specs bring the most and how much impact it will have.

Weird. Because we did not wake up one day and decide guardian and holy pally weren’t getting enough play and that we should all give them a chance.

We did wake up and see patch notes and realize that they are significantly better than the other options. Pretty sure blizzard is in control of how and why they make changes.

Also weird. BM was not perceived as one of if not the best ST class in season 1. It just did the most damage.

All the BM hunters did not wake up day 1 of S2 and forget how to play. Blizzard nerfed BM into the bottom of the pack. Now they are undesirable.

You don’t have a point. Some specs flat out do more damage. Some specs flat out bring more to a group. It is extremely easy to re-roll and gear making fotm more common.

I just looked at the ones available to me right now. Only one specified a shadow priest. Others just want particular roles.

You don’t have to be on the short of end the stick to realize that your class is broken. Everyone, including locks and hunters, knew it was a problem in SL when they were doubling every other class in DPS with 2 buttons. There’s a reason a massive amount of players meta-switched toons to those classes and specs specifically during those seasons.

do you play other video games and know what the word meta means?

Was this question directed at me?

no the OP.

no just give every other class mass dispel, PI, and mind soothe

Should every class get lust, battle res, and group invis too?

The half that don’t get mind soothe should get group invis. Drums to 25%. Every class already has battle res.

There’s something called class identity. We don’t need homogenous classes.

Blizzard has been pretty clear that this won’t happen again.

No they don’t.

??? Yeah I do, you can click on my armory page and look at my bracers sir

Man. I remember doing keys in SL S3 as Affliction warlock when people were always saying go destro (even though I often out-DPSed the Destro locks I’ve encountered as Aff)
And SL S4 keys as a Devastation Evoker when no one wanted any evokers because they feared ‘new class noobs.’
And DF S1 keys as a Devastation Evoker. Even when apparently it was eligible for the Break the Meta keys because most Evokers were healers.

FotM is a pendulum that swings around like crazy. The persistent ones can make progress while not being FotM and usually if you encounter a high-rated player on a non-meta spec, they are likely trying harder than someone of a similar rating on one of those meta specs.

Considering the ‘meta’ only applies to the highest percentiles of content, and considering the number of people who have stepped into keys versus the number of people actually pushing the 24~28 keys is so abysmally small, you are better off trying to push with a group of coordinated friends rather than LFG pugs.

If doing keys for gear? Stop at 16s and get Myth-path gear from the vault, 17s if you still need loot from the end-of-dungeon box. If going for the highest rating you can? Pugging is not pleasant because even if you are the best player in the world, there’s bound to be a pug having an off day or just playing poorly that will bring the group down more often than not.

That’s not a class ability, that’s through profession. Meaning everyone would have to give up a profession to take that. It also requires you to be pretty much on top of the dead player to rez them.

Bracers do not require Engineering to use. The only downside is the short range. And maybe the failure chance but we don’t talk about those.

“Only downside”? That’s a massive downside when classes who actually have Battle Rez can do it 30yds away.

Engi rez while in M+ is 100%. Maybe you should learn how things work first.
