Weird reason to ignore someone but i’ll accept it, you do you. I’ll do me, if someone wants to ignore me because I speak openly about what bothers me, thats the best for both us.

Thanks for the post and the viewpoint. I agree with most everything and I’m having a pretty good time of it. And I hope we both continue doing so.
Here is where we diverge.
There is no way for me to be less interested in, or care less than I do, about any leader’s internal conflicts. If they’re the one leading me that is. Like in this game. Now if I was reading a book and I’m an outside observer then wow that’s great. That’s probably why I’m reading the story. As someone that absolutely needs to be leading and inspiring me and everyone alongside me. No. Hard stop, no. They can keep the sad stories inside please, and their biographers can get around to it after they die.
As is the dialogue resembles a therapy session more than anything else.

Positivity isn’t allowed here! This is the WoW forums and as such we must always have a complainer! I personally think the cinematics are marketed towards a young audience as they always look like kids running around but maybe that’s just me. Seeing as it’s rated Teen I believe that proves my point.

Thus far, this is the first time since TBC->WotLK that two consecutive expansions have been really good right from the start. It feels like the game was starting to stagnate and become soulless around the time of BFA, and especially Shadowlands, but DF introduced a great shake up to the formula-- more content, small and large, a better story, better class design, better zone design, etc.
In pretty much every way, DF was an improvement over SL and BFA, and in some ways (particularly borrowed power and infinite grinds) it was even better than Legion.
TWW is an improvement upon DF, which I am very pleasantly surprised by. Everything added in full for TWW is great (especially delves and follower dungeons, an element of solo playability that the game has always been missing; teased but never fully realized) and I find myself liking all of the new factions this time around.
It’s such a good feeling to have excitement for what comes next. I felt completely disconnected from the game during SL, but now I’m more locked in than I’ve been since Legion.

One of the first quests I remember doing in 2005 was collecting apples from cacti. So grit. Much war. Stop pretending they just started doing this yesterday.

that was nearly 20 years ago… when you’re a sub level 10 nobody, probably helping out the local farmers or militia with their troubles. It’s thematic and it fit back then. not sure how you can even compare the 2 to be honest it’s very disingenuous.
i’m the “champion of azeroth” and im still doing these mundane tasks in an expansion called the WAR within. big lel

I stopped for quite a while. I took weeks off at times, and logged back in to do some events or play with my guild. I had fun here and there, and often found myself bored. Im confused why you’re so stuck on that part of my post.

My biggest “feels off” feeling about Faerin is the Arathi as a whole, they feel like they exist to give semi personal stakes to a handful of characters more than anything (Anduin, Alleria, Liadrin, Turalyon)

yes, getting carried through dungeons is all some people do for 2 years. Does not a great expansion make.

im not, There been no reason to even log into the game. time gating the season was the worst move ever… time gating a season should just be retired in WoW. When people reach max level just let us gear.
Trying to find a mythic raiding team has been misserable… mythic raiding is required if you want to do M+ this season… so i dunno overall the game aint feeling great so far.

I’ve never been into M+ to be honest. I’ve dabbled in it and done it for mounts and achievements but never had any fun there. I couldn’t speak to how the M+ scene is now tbh.
