I am asking once again

So thrall isn’t a shaman wearing the Doom plate?

Anduin isn’t a priest??

What are they then?

I’ve already answered this. Feel free to reread.

Yeah, that they’re big lore figures???

Exactly, and lore figures typically influence what is available to players…

I mean big lore figures have us DH as a class and dark ranger as a hero spec…

So, top kek

I don’t need to realize anything. Blizzard clearly want to maintain the class fantasy structure. Someone wearing a bikini heritage armor doesn’t change that.

Just because you refuse to accept that doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

Influence, yes.

1:1 correlation, no. Never have been.

You’re not making the point you think you are.

You can mog certain items that visually appear to be outside of your armor class at least. It’s a start anyway, but only a relatively few amount of equip of course.

When did I say it’s a guarantee. I’m just saying NPC can influence what’s available to players especially if they’re popular enough.

Hence DH as a class and dark ranger as a hero spec…

Thus the mere fact we have two huge NPCs in plate as non plate classes is a point of pro argument, not against.

You’re right, I forgot about the platoon of paladins in bikinis and sailor moon DKs in Warcraft 3.

Lolololol

Not really. Thrall has worn that plate since WCIII and it hasn’t influenced what shamans can wear.

It’s irrelevant, like I said at the beginning. NPCs are not player classes.

Anyways, you obviously just want what you want and are going to make up logic loops to justify it no matter what anyone says, so I won’t waste any more time.

When everyone can use the in-game shop mogs and often they look like cloth and you can wear it on plate, it really makes the arguement against the idea go out the window. There’s no reason not to allow people to wear whatever the heck they want

I know I am.

  1. Probably because it wouldn’t be good business practice to gate people from using items after being brought with IRL cash
  2. IIRC last month the trader post had armor restrictive armor for sell which DOESN’T use IRL money.

You can’t use transmog of gear outside your armor type because it is not your armor type. This is a pretty easy question.

Did we have xmog in classic?

I’m just pointing an argument and it’s a purely logical one.

And it’s only one from many others.

Plz link the bikini pally platoon from Warcraft 3

please let my paladin wear her dress…

What would that solve? It’s not gonna make your silly demand come to reality. :joy:

Just create a setting that allows you to be blind to other people’s mogs.

There gg.

Again, we can mog naked and have pajamas…

That’s like arguing against helicopters when we can fly on planes

Again, those are exceptions.

Again, we get “exceptions” practically every month now…

In 5 years, we’ll be swimming in “exceptions”

We’ll also still be swimming in class specific gear.

Enjoy. :joy:

So if we just keep getting exceptions after exceptions after exceptions? Then what kinda of logic is it to not open up restrictions?

It’s completely arbitrary…

You realize how stupid you sound arguing with exceptions, when it keeps happening???
