I Am About To Unsub Over 4k Stygia

My advice. Unsubscribe. Say it with your wallet. Does this company deserve your money and time? Ask yourself that question.

Maybe you’ll learn not to hoard it, and spend it regularly.

Goodness, I hope not. I haven’t had occasion to call support in years, but these people have my credit card info on file. I better have a means of getting a live human on the horn in the event something kicks up some dust.

I’ve commented a lot on this post i realize but I have a lot to say about this zone. Most of it is negative and there’s more than enough of that going around in here. So I will offer some advice. SPEND THAT STYGIA on U P G R A D E S. Buy the ghost grapple. Pay to active the teleporters. Soul brand yourself from assassins and abductors. We are doing this crap for TWO YEARS. Upgrade now. It’s a long term investment.

Because as a mythic raider, I was saving up my stygia to put sockets on my best gear since I had 1 more week of quests until I was maxed out on rep.

Phone support still exists for Billing purposes. But not for in-game issues.

See my post above. You need to upgrade if you’re in there trying to farm sockets.

Guys, I have every single upgrade for the zone lmao theres nothing left to spend it on except random conduit upgrades which will probably just upgrade conduits for specs I dont play.

He wouldn’t have been in this situation had he not pushed the jailor. Second, you can earn stygia much faster than he’s claiming. Third, I’ve pushed things in the maw and elsewhere. My bad.

No, the literally don’t. You are there BY CHOICE.

Did… did we know the portal was rng, but clicked anway? I gotta know…

So now the jailor threatens you with disconnects? Weird it doesn’t say that on the Jailor’s Eye anywhere.

It gives me anxiety. I can’t do it. lol. Kudos to you though. When he starts talking to me and threatening me and that eye gets so big I nope the heck outta there. Even with upgrades.

I can’t blame him for this. I didn’t realize till I died the first time and then died a second time due to the insta rez that you could lose stygia. Perhaps he was unware. I don’t have that kind of rep with the vendor so I can’t even buy sockets. Perhaps he does not have high enough rep yet to buy the higher rep rewards.

You aren’t going anywhere and we both know it.

might seem like a huge deal right now i guess but tbh they wont let you socket that many slots (the socket item has limitation on what slots it can apply a socket to)

so you didnt lose that much, soon enough you wont remember

like even if i had 7200 stygia by next week i cant socket anything because all socketable slots are socketed already. (maybe the vault item will need one tho, who knows)

She tells you in the very beginning when you first get there that dying there comes with a price. Not paying attention to an NPC warning you about a game mechanic is a player error.

Negative, that’s some prime grade-A bullcrap of a situation; pretty confident a keyboard would be chucked into a wall if it were me.

This is also why I’ll never use the Stygia items; straight to the bank, will pop em when I need em.

Folks are likely hoarding stygia to mass-buy the socket items and having it locked behind a rep will cause the above situation to potentially occur.

Especially in that whiskey - 3 deck a day - voice.

I know what the punishments are, and I have no problem trying to get back to my body to retrieve my stygia, but the game didn’t give me a single option for getting anything I lost back, it just took a fat portion of my stygia pile and blew it into the wind.

The game needs more things you can permanently lose. It’s so shocking and disheartening to lose stygia because nothing has been permanent in 15 years of this game. If it was more commonplace, players wouldn’t feel so bad about it!
