Yeah, I think of Feral as having a high skill celing, maybe the highest of any class as there’s a lot one needs to keep track of and any slip up would cost you dearly.
The buff lowers that skill ceiling significantly. It buffs the spec mostly by ensuring that below par Ferals can do almost as well as high performing Ferals.

No it doesn’t, it removes some of the jank but you still have to keep track of all the same things and have all the same pitfalls to screw up your rotation.

They should just do a rotational weekly buff. Every week a different class is buffed to the top, that way we all get a chance to top dps.
Ret buf is not identical they went from super bad to just bad …
Feral was a mid pack dps . Now they sim on par with uh dk and lock ( 10600 in full p2 bis , warlock sims 10900 and uh 10700 , they sim higher then assas rogue rn they are third highest sim…) feral went from b tier to s tier

I mean, Blizzard should have never opened up this can of worms in the first place (starting with the ret buffs, no matter how minor they were).
That’s really the problem here.
Look at this forum feed now. Nothing but whines for buffs or nerfs or tuning adjustments…it’s basically retail all over again. The exact thing we all wanted to originally get away from.
Blizz messed this one up. IMO their best move is to focus on novel approaches to the lvl 60 game. Classic+, hardcore modes, refined season of mastery investments…this “progressive” approach to the newer expansions, expansions that were already seen as WoW jumping the shark by most vanilla-passionate players, with all these adjustments and changes have just created a “mini-retail”.

Every one I see has feral as B-C tier
Either you’re looking at current rankings or you’re just trolling. Go look at sarthes videos, scottejay, simonize, literally every DPS tier list before Wrath Classic launched had ferals as S tier.
Nope just reading through multiple sites that are all dated before launch. Trying several different ones since I know some are probably crap.
Also calling anyone who doesn’t agree with you a “troll” makes any convo awkward and unwanted. I’m all for the Druid buff as they’re in MY team. Just commented on something that I’ve never seen to be true
I think you might be looking at the wrong statistics with those numbers.
You’re not wrong in saying that they were middle/upper-middle of the pack overall before the change though.
This is the change in ranking for ignis on the 90th percentile since the last week:
Funnily enough, on IC, feral was only above Arms warrior and BM hunter.

Out of curiosity, there’s one more outlier on that graph and that seems to be a rogue line…why did they seem to go in the complete opposite direction? Did they (that spec, name isn’t shown) get nerfed?

The problem here is that people are treating predictions by rando’s in the internet as benchmarks. Expecting something to be number one is not grounds for buffing it into that spot. You gambled and you lost - you don’t get to get chair lifted into place by Blizzard (or at least you shouldn’t).

By the way - since when did we start taking youtuber predictions as a benchmark? They’re predictions. They can be wrong. When they are wrong you don’t buff the classes to bring them in line with the wrong predictions …
You guys are dense, and I think its on purpose. The tier list videos released before Wrath Classic launched had ferals as S tier. We didn’t know we were going to be garbage til launch and realized that OOC/FFF was broken.
Yeah imagine if the other top tier DPS classes weren’t up to par, everyone would be rioting.
