A huge reason I’ve been opposed to every class balance change they’ve made in Classic.
My druid was almost 80!

It’s an overall nerf, yes. The “buff” didn’t affect PVP at all, and the nerf does. Feral consistently seems to be given “no fun allowed” treatment, which is unfortunate, because it would otherwise be a pretty good time.
I don’t think that’s the case.
The problem isn’t the buff it’s that it wasn’t benchmarked or tested properly. So when the results were on the upper bound they panic “fixed” it.
They need to slow down, and test their interventions properly. You know - do some engineering. They have a ptr - they should use it.
They’re being reckless and lazy and cheap.

It could just be coincidence or timing. I only mained druid for like 2-3 xpacs, but it seems consistent with my experience.
The buff seemed to be well inline with what they stated it would be. It would be better if they just reverted the change to begin with, not try to make additional changes that make things worse overall.
