I’d be okay with it costing like 30 weekly tokens or something. Or the limitation of only being able to buy one or two pieces per season. But it’s always the best items that are the hardest to get. Why is it that way? Why should lucky players get to do more damage because they rolled a higher number. The system is ridiculous. Bring back personal loot. ANYTHING is better than the way it is now.

This functionally limited it to one piece per season (or maybe two.) Sure why not, implement something no one should really use. (But then we’ll have complaints about how people bricked their characters.)

Bro, are you aware at how rapidly the population is declining in game?
Also I’ve had four weeks in a row now no suitable vault option. Why would I care if it costed 40-50 weekly tokens. My point is, the carrot on the stick has to at least be visible to get me to chomp at it. It’s ok if you don’t feel that way we aren’t the same person.

Yea, I have all the gear I can get more or less, thus I’m raid logging. Having one or two more items from vault will not change that.
I’m out of gear to obtain.
And even if they made mythic track droppable (like now from m+.) I’d play I guess, one week more?
And if it was there from inception, I’d have played probably even less.
Idk I was enjoying playing my warlock but again, no spymaster for 4 weeks in a row got me saying screw it. I’m just gonna go check out some other games til this one fixes some of the glaring issues.

Because said difficulty is tied up in RNG, which may sound ridiculous to you, but the alternative is that there is no texturing to the overall ecosystem of power; everyone knows how and when to get the exact item. It robs some of the ‘wow’ of both receiving it and seeing it on someone else.

It seems like a fun trinket to use. I’d like to enjoy playing around with it. Remember the font trinket off azshara? I LOVED combustion windows with that thing it was so enjoyable. Idk it’s like I’m a kid and I have to watch the rich kids play with the cool toys while I got the plastic truck with a missing wheel. Idk why this is hard for people to understand.
I’m also okay with not being the first second third fourth or fifth person with the trinket or rare item. I just want to know I will EVENTUALLY get it. Otherwise why even try?

Kind-of. The difference is it isn’t a rich kid vs poor kid situation. Everyone’s on a level playing field. …mostly, some people do pay for runs, and that’s a small teeter on the side of people with money.
If BiS is all you care about you are already on an endless treadmill as that becomes useless by the next season if not sooner by some tuning pass that changes what is BiS.
Simply put it’s a game if you are treating it as a job you need to find something else to do for a bit until you think you can enjoy it again.

Imagine thinking you’re entitled to loot in this game. Goodness, how did y’all survive in Vanilla, BC and Wrath when it used to take a month to get one upgrade sometimes?
The Vault isn’t your main source of loot. It’s your bonus roll with benefits.
Also: there is no season 4 and there won’t likely be bullion for a very long time.
So… have a nice break, I guess. We all need breaks from games from time to time.

RNG is RNG , no different than the people who get a .1% mount drop on their first kill versus someone farming it for hundreds of runs and still not getting it. You made another thread talking about being an average joe and not being able to get full BiS which in general is a joke as being fully decked out isn’t meant for the average joe.

We don’t always get BiS, obviously. But it would be nice if we had a system to eventually guarantee the drop. I gave up on sacbrood after like 20 straight runs of arakara… no thanks broskie, I accept that rng is cancer and it beat me this season. I doubt I get out of vault cuz vault usually gives me trash, but thats pretty much the only way ima get it.
And that’s all I’m saying. Rng has beaten me out of the game. Ggs blizz the rng won, hope ur happy. That’s all I ever meant to say in the post

In other words, you’re gonna wait till Season 3.5/4.5? Or whenever they decide to do the 0.5 final season inbetween the next expansion and this one, if they decide to do that again.
Yeah I don’t see a point in playing if I don’t know for sure I can be competitive. That’s my viewpoint.
I’m stuck with this normal spymaster until next raid. I did not get a rage feather out of vault last expansion
