We’re getting it with ICC.
I believe they said, it is coming, and the current tool will not work, and the new tool is not quite ready but will be soon (or something like that if I am remember correctly).

They run multiple builds of the PTR for each phase.
Each build intended to test some different feature.
The first and usually longest build is always going to be the main meat and potatoes of the Patch, the raid.
It’s not in this test phase. They said that already.

- Please be advised that the LFG tool is not functional in this PTR build. We are working to update the group finder tools for this patch and as a result, the previous iteration of the LFG tool is no longer functional but has not yet been replaced with the new iteration.

It’s posts like these that I’m not surprised Blizzard doesn’t communicate with the player base. What’s even the point of communicating when people ignore the times they do communicate.

Issues adding back in a tool (RDF) that was developed decades ago. Classic.
Well tbh I didn’t know there was an update that RDF wouldn’t be in the first time the ptr is up. I apologize this seem like a waste of time. But it is solve now that I see the update and understand it.

I don’t know, this multiple dollar company released a patch for classic era to update the honor system and instead made a bug that prevented orcs and trolls from entering BRD.
Which is fixed now but still, if they want to at least try to be careful then I say let them, I don’t think I want to log in and discover that the Hakkar Blood Plague has returned or that Festergut had his ICC spawn broken and is now in the Dalaran sewers.
My tin foil is this has a really “fun” monkey paw or 2. they like leaving this out of any code till release.
Since wowhead and others are really good at picking out all those details.
I’d like to be wrong ofc. Its just blizzard has put in so many monkey paws over the years its expected at this point.

And you are telling me this why exactly?
Last time they had patched in the character copy for classic and did some cross server tech the servers got royally screwed up so I’d bet they’re trying to figure out how to deploy a cross server functionality without repeating that.
Maybe – I was just answering the original question as to when it was avail to test is all I was doing.
They need time to somehow detach their Mythic dungeons from being used with RDF.

no there’s work yet to be done on it, for everyone that thought “it was already in the game so they just have to flip a switch and it’ll work” in software development it is ALWAYS more complicated than that.

Aka Not this PTR phase But I believe the next one icc is big So there’s going to be a couple weeks of testing.
They said that the Gamma ICC dungeons won’t have any additional mechanics or hp/damage buffs though, so surely that means we’ll be able to queue for gamma dungeons, right? Unless the monkey paw is that RDF is for normal mode dungeons only.
