Yes.
We are getting our Covenants baked into our class in DF so I would very much say they’re not borrowed power, unless you mean borrowed from the future.
Almost every aspect of Bear Druid in 9.2 translates to 10.0.

Except it isn’t tied to any grind and is acquired through leveling naturally. Also, there’s no worrying about not playing the “meta” covenant, soulbinds, or conduits.
And those fixes only happen cause of metric completions or press in case of emergency.
Like they had post about cosmic flux trading coming out at s4 or a but after. But then within a week they put out a BoA item. However the biggest thing that happened that week was Ally HoA “closed” (disregarding the error on their end it was announced to be closed as it should have). That’s a metric completed. And we got QoL. No different from spec specific conduit upgrading being made available for horde HoF closing fof SoD and essence vendor opening up when Horde HoF NYA closed.
They absolutely know what is wrong and legitimately sit on fixes to give adrenaline shots for arbitrary reasons. And that is just stupid. Hence why end of game is always most free and fun.
Cries in hunter.
Amazing how you can take a bit of alpha data mined content and call it final, like you’re expecting it to be launched tomorrow
Did Hunter even get covenant abilities? I didn’t see any unless it’s just spread out among random talents
i’m pretty sure Ion said yesterday with MrGM that there won’t be affixes
Grind? What grind?
As for the rest of your point, being able to swap load outs anywhere is great but is simply an iteration upon the current design. It’s SL without needing to go to your soulbind table.
This is not correct. They’ve only said they want “simpler” seasonal affixes.
If Shrouded is a template for the future, we should be worried a bit. Although post launch tuning could always change things.
There will be. He said they’re still iterating on seasonal affixes, but said they wanted something that wasn’t convoluted. Idk, the S4 seasonal affix seems to be a step in that direction.
Only Death Chakra, or whatever that Necrolord one is.
The worst one that no one will ever use.
Yeah it’s a post-fixed shadowlands with no covenant grinds, no conduits, no soulbinds, better pvp gearing system, and a much more intense focus on open world content layered on top of the normal M+/raiding/arena
always so negative Sentenza, grab a snickers.
Honestly they screwed up by not having flayed shot. Spirits and resonating can stay dead though.
Most of what I want is going to come later. Better balance, better content, solo challenges, better mogs, etc.
A lot of folks mald over Shadowlands so they’ll take a worst patch because it’s new and want to move on. I don’t need to move on so why would I be happy about a bad 10.0 patch?
I’m sure DF will eventually be good as it’s building in the foundation SL has laid out, but in the short term? Meh.
You and almost everyone else.
DF is likely going to be a hot mess at launch with all the various specs being unbalanced. I don’t think they’re giving themselves enough time, especially since they are essentially redesigning ALL the specs entirely with the new talent trees.
And still doesn’t address the problems they’ve ignored in SL with the removal of HoA talents, and the potential loss of the Covenant abilities. Annoying when they build the expansion around a borrowed power that’s going to get removed later.
You realize that most classes are getting covenant abilities as talents right?
Same thing happens every new expansion. First two tiers are spent fixing everything they broke. Game becomes playable at the backend, just in time for them to scrap all the systems they just fixed for new systems.
I think you’re jumping the gun my M+ friendo.
Why do you think that? We’ve seen every season 1 of a new expansion be bad, and with a large design paradigm shift I would expect this trend to continue or maybe even be exacerbated.
