Who Are We?
We are a new guild striving to provide for our guildmates and greater server community through coordination and decency. A majority of the guild is aged 25+ and are active in-game, playing outside of raid times in some capacity. We believe success in raiding is the cumulative effort of individual excellence, and no one here expects to be carried through content.
What is Expected?
We enjoy raiding with a touch of min-max, but recognize the diminishing returns in the extremes of raiding and its impact on player enjoyment.
• Raiders should research fights and know their roles independently
• Raiders should be able to read and interpret Warcraft Logs to improve
• We ask that raiders attend the world buff circuit sometime before raids
• 80% or better attendance is mandatory
What is Needed?
Players of considerable merit are encouraged to apply no matter their class, especially those hoping to become class leads or managing officers.
• Immediate/High: RSham, Fury/Arms, MCP Bear
• Medium: Mage, Rogue, Hunter (must be able to Tribute)
• Low: Warlock, HPriest
How is Loot Handled?
Loot is handled through a transparent loot council composed of Officers/Class Leads. We believe the inherent flaws of other systems such as DKP are not suitable for the scarcity of loot, class composition imbalance, and player turnover rates brought on by the entropic nature of gathering 40-man teams. Before the raid has begun, item drops have been prioritized based on factors such as attendance, performance, raid contribution, etc. Though this is a loot council, we refuse to screw people over by overloading one player with all loot or depriving members of their share of loot. Everyone gets a turn.
