With how hunter’s mark work you’re encouraged to bring multiple hunters on some bosses as it can only lock to 1 enemy, this seems a bit skewed compared to other raid buffs. Maybe switching it so it affects the 2 other closest enemies would alleviate wanting multiple hunters on some raid fights.
As a hunter, I am cool with having multiple hunters desirable, if it’s ever an issue the hunter may swap HM using a GCD.. but yeah hunters historically have had to fight for raid spots and having a few blocked off for us feels v nice.
Which isn’t good for council bosses where you want to stack them and cleave, it’s a huge difference for a boss like Lightblinded Vanguard on mythic where the dps check is still very much tight. Expecting raid groups to have 3 hunters isn’t really something I would call good design. And by limiting it to 3 targets that one hunter can mark you might still want more than one on some bosses but it wouldn’t be as big.
