Hey blizz, what is this? Played Solo que’s with all melee, guess who’s the targ, every time? Can’t do anything, can’t run, can’t cc enough, can’t dps, don’t you think there should be some even gameplay here? I went 0-6, if i were cloth, I’d say the same thing. whats up with this setup?
Anyone else have this issue? or is it just me? I tried killing healer/melee nothing worked.
You basically just keep running laps in those lobbies and try to drag them behind pillars and stuff out of los of their healer. Your damage up until your 2nd trueshot doesnt really matter, just keep kiting and trying to land traps on the healer. Even if you get 0 aimed shots, thats better than dying.
you have everything you need to keep melee off you. you should have at least 5 different keybinds to trade for gap closers (thats excluding intim and freezing trap). if they are on top of you and they didnt need to charge/grip/etc then your positioning is bad. They gapclose you trade. if traps are your problem “/cast [@player] spellname” to just drop a trap at your feet. I dont recomend it because you should be landing them without it but it works for you til you get to that point.
DK is probably the easiest melee for marks hunter to kill. Rogue lobbies are really hard. Multi disarm lobbies are hard. A lobby being 3 melee 1 hunter could be a great lobby or a terrible lobby. More about the specific classes and not whether they’re melee.
But dk would be one of the more favorable matchups. Easy to kill when it’s not on your team, very effective partner if you play around it like your dk is a m+ tank.
Yeah, like I said, on paper it looks good. But in reality not so much. DR’s and counter cc’s galore. Just saying Blizz should balance the lobbies a bit more.
No, it’s just practice. Every time over the past few years I’ve got stuck at a rating it’s because I had to learn to kite players who were better and better at locking hunter down.
You’re going to get hit and you have to accept that. Use your escapes/unrootable kiting/roots for enemy CDs, not when they are off CD. Sometimes you have to turret and get them off you with counter pressure/positioning. Can pull them into an awkward open spot to CC the enemy healer.
Welcome to a taste of being a caster. Add kick pressure on top of that and you’ll see what being a caster is like in that blender.
Every single time a hunter sits still and does their rotation with two melees on him and they are not scared in the slightest , means the game is a joke. Last night I had fury arms sv lobby followed by mm bm fury and the hunters never looked scared.
If melee are cc’ing YOU on cd then no cc is going out to your healer
