Looks to be less than 20%.
Raptor Strike did almost as much damage as Aimed Shot.
So? Itâs basically 17% melee versus 60% ranged. Ranged is basically doing almost 4 times the amount of damage that melee is.

Survival as a Melee spec with plenty of reach makes it way more fun then just being another shoehorned in ranged spec.
Yeah but heres another thing, that version of World of Warcraft⌠Hunters couldnât use any range attacks if they were too close to their target, within 8 yards from memory. So that hunter is actually moving into melee to use those raptor strikes.
Hunterâs melee weaved, even with the more range friendly spec.
melee hunter is an abomination. I want my 3rd ranged spec back.

This is irrelevant, melee made a very small part of the overall damage and you used those abilities less than 1/4 of the time.
Just another âshoehornedâ ranged spec ehh? So how many ranged specs are there that use bow and gun primarily, if my math is right based on the discussion here it is 1.5 basically.
I guess you donât like variety? I think itâs way better than it used to be⌠3 dps specs, 3 very different styles. My biggest beef with hunters is the sound effects used to be so much more clean. They sound like garbage now⌠where are the gun shots that ring out? Where are the whistling arrows? Feels like moving backwards 20 years with sound effect tech instead of forward.
