Hi!

Mature player with a sense of humor. I have been playing since February of 2005. I raided early on, my guild started to fall apart at the beginning of MoP. The last raid we completed was Dragon Soul.

Since then I have leveled alts and done LFR. Not much fun, I have always missed the old days.

My wife asked me why I have spent so much time playing a game. I have been a musician since I was 4 years old. I have easily played over 1000 shows and compared it to that.

  • A group of diverse people, each with a specialization.
  • Personal responsibility.
  • Some preparation or practice.
  • A kind of loose, respectful family.
  • Don’t stop playing a song in the middle to yell at someone about pathing :grinning:
  • Shared sense of accomplishment when you have a good night. We probably won’t be going to IHOP for the after gig breakfast.
  • Most important: Have fun!

And I look at hunters as the bass players of WOW: we stand in the back, doing our jobs and everyone ignores us until our pet or girlfriend pulls aggro (I certainly don’t think of a girlfriend as a pet, just filling out the analogy).

Anyway, looking to join a guild that feels the same way. I would like to raid again. Possibly do Mythic dungeons (I have no friends in game now and did not want to try pugging that).

I will definitely do a realm transfer. Might be open to a faction change, but I would miss orc shoulders.

Heya Winstor. I run an Alliance guild that might be close to what you’re looking for. We’re pretty close-knit, skew older, and put emphasis on liking who we raid with above most other things. We do still manage to get things done, typically clearing Heroic in time to get AotC, and we have raiders from lots of different backgrounds and experience levels.

Descendants of Lore is recruiting we are alliance, and full disclosure in our guild it is always the hunters fault. :slight_smile: We are mostly all adults with kids and jobs so understand real life comes first and are very familiar with wife/kid aggro. [A] Descendants of Lore is a semi-casual Alliance raiding guild on Khadgar/Alleria that has been around since Vanilla (13 + Years). We are a small to medium sized, close-knit guild of friendly, mature players, with the majority being over the age of 40 with children and jobs.

We offer a laid back environment with dedicated players willing to put in the work to succeed. We make a push for Heroic each expansion.

We raid Sundays from 4pm-8pm CST. (2-6 pm Pacific) and every other Saturday with Mythic Plus, Timewalking, etc. throughout the week. We raid with an average of 15 raiders consistently each week. We are currently 7/9 H in Battle and 7/8 N in Eternal Palace.

I read your post and we are interested. We offer several established raid teams. All of our raid teams have their own experienced team leaders. We have the logs to prove that we have been together a long time.

We are a small band of players that have played since launch. We are looking to expand into more competitive content and as such are looking for raiders. However, we welcome all players in this community so long as they follow our expectations.

Why join OA?
Being a brand new guild means the new members dictate the future of the guild. A sense of closer camaraderie exists in small scale guilds that doesn’t exist in large-scale guilds that new members essentially feel alienated from. We are not looking to get ‘large’ but are looking for enough members to maintain and create a growing community.

Raid Times:

Recruitment Needs for Mythic: (Transfer Required) 1 brew tank, 1 disc+holy priest, 1 holy paladin, 2 ranged dps(strong preference for warlock, ele sham, s priest) 1 dps with strong tank off spec, prefer monk or warrior… Potentially 1 stud melee player. Anyone talented regardless of class/spec will be considered. Do not be shy to apply even if you are not one of our high priority classes.

We also recruit normal and heroic only raiders for our normal and heroic raids. We have many awesome less hardcore players that join us for heroic and normal to learn from our mythic raiders. This is a very active and growing guild. Our raiders do not just log on to raid and than disappear.

Guild Goals: We are pushing hard for famed slayer in eternal palace and need like minded driven competitive individuals with the same goal [IN PROGRESS]. To full clear mythic BoD in a timely competitive fashion (US 250 Minimum) [COMPLETED; cut our US ranking in HALF] and all future mythic raid tiers going forward in a quick and competitive manner. We set our goals and then we do what it takes to meet them. We do meet our goals. Period. We started antorus 6 months late and burned our way through cutting edge Antorus. This IS a cutting edge raiding guild with structure and organization.

Raid Schedule
[Mythic] Thursday 8:30pm-10:30pm cst
[Mythic] Sat/Sun 3:30-7:30 pm central.
[Heroic] Tuesday is our heroic night for our mythic raiders/sales run 8:30 central to 11:00pm. This run is optional but highly recommended for gear sharing.
[Heroic] Wednesday- Open to our heroic team raiders, mythic raiders, and mythic raider alts. run 8:30 central to 11:00. This team full clears heroic easily as well.
[Normal] Friday open to anyone 8:30 central to 10:00.

We push people to get 1 heroic clear and 1 mythic 10 plus a week done. This is * required for our mythic raiders. As long as there is forging in the game people should be fishing for titanforges.

More about the guild: We do it all, we aren’t just raiders. We are extremely active guild, the most active on the server, and more active than most servers/guilds. Our people do not just log on for raids once or twice a week. Our average age range is 28-35. We enjoy PvP- arenas, rbgs, bgs, wpvp, Mythic+, achievements. We have a very laid back but like to get stuff done kind of atmosphere when it is not raid time. When it is raid time, we get focused and serious and competitive in a non toxic results oriented manner. Very active and supportive guild filled with awesome human beings. Pep Talk is a newly formed guild on (H) Illidan with the purpose of enjoying content as a community. Currently pursuing end game content in pve/pvp and eventually moving into mythic raiding.

Haunted by Murlocs (6/9M BoD 8/8H tEP) is looking to recruit exceptional raiders for our three raiding teams.

The Who:

We are a semi-hardcore mythic raiding guild who emphasize on regular attendance. Leadership comprises of a GM council and an officer team. Each raid has its own raid leader.

The When:

  1. The AM team (8/8H) raids Wed/Thu/Fri 10:00AM-1:00PM EST with optional Heroic Clear on Tue 11AM-1PM EST.
  2. The PM1 team (8/8H) raids Fri/Sat 9:30PM-1:30AM EST.
  3. The PM2 team is a newly forming team and raids Tue/Wed/Thu 7:00PM-10:00PM EST

The Requirements:

Raiders must be above 400ilvl and have a neck level of 57 at least to trial with any of the raid teams. We have a ramping neck level requirement of one level extra for each week AK rolls out.

The Rules:

  1. Trials are brought in depending on the needs of the raid on the day and are expected to be available for the duration of the raid they are trialling with. If the performance exceeds expectations trails will be inducted into the raid team.

  2. All loot that is looted by a player belongs to the player unless they give it up for rolling. An officer council will decide who the loot goes to (like the loot councils of past expansions)

  3. All BoEs that drop during the raid go to the officer council to fund the repairs, feasts and cauldrons provided in the raid.

  4. Players are expected to show up fully enchanted and gemmed before the raid with the best pots they are supposed to use.

  5. Discord is required for all guild raids and is expected to be kept clear for callouts and stuff

  6. Drama is not entertained, and repeated drama will result is a guild kick.

The Needs:

We are looking for exceptional raiders to fit in to our three raid teams - AM, PM1 and PM2. We require different class/spec combinations for each team, and you can find each team’s requirements below.

  • AM team is looking for exceptional dps with healing OS preferably a balance druid and a shadow priest. We are also looking to recruit a mage, a warlock, a fury warrior and other exceptional damage dealers.

  • PM1 team is looking to recruit two healers preferably a resto druid/shaman, a holy priest We are also looking to recruit a rogue and other exceptional damage dealers.

  • PM2 team is looking for exceptional players to build the raid from scratch and looking for all classes and all roles at this point.

Hey guys Chad the intern here, so I started interning for a new company so I got some ss-4’s and 1099 R’s to pass around so bare with me. Ok now that, that is done you can take your seat and we can begin. Have you ever dreamed of making all your friends jealous, and envious of your numerous achievements in life? Have you ever wanted to get so much gains you can bench press 40x your own body weight? Ever wanted to not he able to leave the house without a wetsuit on and a inflatable raft?

Well good news for you then since Scripted Encounter has hired me to recruit you. It’s that time of year when the time comes to open the flood gates,and get back to the old grindstone. With the dawn of a new teir looming on the horizon, 7/8H after week one looking to recruit some range dps and healers, lead by a 7/9m team, looking to round out their roster to go back into mythic.

We raid Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday 8-11 PM est. So not a super hard schedule,so it’s more about being on your A game. Since we all are working professional adults, that like to get together and push mythic content. Whether it be mythic+, mythic raiding,doing the raid achieves for fun. The overall goal though pushing for that sweet sweet nectar of cutting edge.
