Can someone explain why jungle is considered the best hunter comp compared to Spriest/hunter, rogue/hunter, lock hunter etc?
What is considered the “easiest” hunter comp for newer players(ie not needing perfect cc chains to win)?
Can anyone rank the comps?
Thug, scatterplay, jungle, DK/Hunter, afflic/hunter, Cupid
Outlaw thug unironically prob better rn, but big benefit is having good off heals from feral a solid ranged kick good CC for you and also some other benefits from feral like their mobility and being immune to poly which lets the healer soley focus on getting the hunter out of CC
Spriest Hunter just tanks too much free damage and the one MU it used to really shine against which was RMX does really well into it now so it loses a lot of value
I’d rank outlaw thug as being better than or equal to jungle, then for rn DK and ret hunter right after, and finally spriest hunter
I think aff/hunter would be awful but it’s possible SV/Demo is good, just haven’t seen it ran much (too hard to know, only like a couple of SV hunters anyways)
