Lift your spirits and take a break from all the serious threats the Void and their agents present with a little team vs team hide-and-seek in the 12.0.5 content update. Don the guise of a random Decor Item or seek them out in this fast-paced duel for fun—and some new rewards.
Give Decor Duels a Rated Mode.
Let me get gladiator through prop hunt, please! It would be SO FUNNY
I am going to remind Blizzard that this NEEDS TO BE CHECKED over and over and over again.
If I go play this and I cannot have fun because people are in glitch spots, I will pitch a fit.
Sounds interesting but the bit about flies giving you away sounds annoying
Its to make it fair. In CoD you whistle every so often.
I figured it was loosely copied from some recent prop hunt game. Last one I played was tf2 many years ago
This isn’t an April fool’s joke?
Does anyone want to meet me in Silvermoon and do a flash mob of all the china and utensils from Beauty and the Beast? and then do “Be our guest” ??
Anyone?
Anyone at all?!
Huh I used to play something similar with my son in Fortnite. Is this, that?
In Fortnite a ping goes off every 15 seconds. The louder it is, the closer you are to someone. It’s much better because it doesn’t directly give you away.
I’m really excited about this. Prop hunt is my favorite game mode in other games.
this sounds fun if you have friends (i don’t), pugging this won’t be fun for me I think, but the idea is funny and cool.
I’m admittedly not enthused for this game, but I will do it for the furniture I want.
WoW gameplay has been… “suffer to get the reward” for me a bit too much lately :c
It would be nice if we had another option to collect the furniture we want. That way the WoW dev team can have actual feedback on how fun this minigame is.
How do you get feedback on players having fun vs suffering through something for specific rewards? The suffering leads to burnout and subscription drops.
What we should have is Black Friday sales at Goblin warehouse stores outside the main capitals. The stores have limited rare items and the moment the stores open, everyone’s PvP flag in enabled.
It would be the most realistic part of the game.
They don’t care about fun. If players do the content, that content is a big success. So the art of it is to provide the sloppiest content that players will engage with in order to minimize development time and maximize profits.
A tutorial video will be nice.
See how it goes but for me I think I’ll just dip in for some cosmetic weapons and then dip out. Probably what most of the playerbase will do.
Why? Do you really think that players who enjoy housing want this type of gameplay for decor? It’s already a boring grind for housing related items with so much being put into the cash shop too. No thanks.
I guess since housing was disabled nobody really plays it anyhow.
I hate to trash content other people might like, but… come on, no one asked for this garbage.
This isn’t what PvP players want, and this isn’t what people who enjoy Housing want.
And on top of that, it’s evidently buggy as hell, from what I’m reading.
…
Stop shoveling “content” out the door, fix the damn bugs, test before patch day.
How about you fix housing?
Or is that fixed now and you haven’t announced it?
The game crashes in this activity. GG blizzard.
