Human weapon racials

I think Lothar used a 2H sword, so human sword racial, I guess.

It’s basically from Warcraft 3.

Grunts used Axes, hence Orc racial.
Footmen/Knights used swords, hence human racial.
Paladins used maces, hence human racial.

I guess there was the Blademaster, but on average Humans had more sword units. And the Farseer (Thrall) was a caster, not melee. So a weapon skill bonus doesn’t make sense for Orcs because of a magical hammer that a caster used.

Alliance was specifically designed to be better at PvE and Horde PvP. Weapon skill bonus is more useful for raid bosses than PvP.

If they wanted to make it fair, it would’ve been Axes/Swords for Orcs and Maces/Swords for Humans.

i wish this was a thing, makes way more sense.

The lore reason is because in Warcraft 3 the only weapons humans really use are swords (footman, knight) and hammers (paladin hero). Orcs have axe specialization because of grunts, dwarves have gun specialization because of riflemen units, and trolls have thrown specialization because of headhunters. TMYK

Everything is because of Warcraft 3. WoW is literally a spin-off of Warcraft 3. All major characters are from Warcraft 3.

Lore reason : Human potential.

Seriously? Pls stop.

Paladin are mace focus (iconic weapon vs undead), that’s why humans and dwarf have that exp, imo.

And skill wise, I think humans are the more militar race of all, because they have to compensate their lack of raw power. Their knights and soldier are more equal trained with equal gear (sword and shield) and horde are more tribal and individualist, they use what they fit them.

What are you talking about?

The militar lore and training of human in wow

And the horde doesent have a military?

swords and maces are a human creation the lesser races just copied us

Yes, but more tribal.

Are we talking about the horde or orcs?
