Human Shaman please

At the time of their introduction it made no sense to have Demon hunters for other races but in the time since, in lore, it’s been years, and it’s been the same amount of time, more or less, that it took the blood elves that Kael gave over to Illidan to learn how to Demon Hunters to learn how to be Demon Hunters.

At this point all it takes is a burning deep hate of demons and I guess someone to teach you from the Ilidari to be one since enough time has passed for there to have been a new generation, much like the 4th generation of DKs, however I don’t see all races being DHs just by virtue of it being…

I mean do you see a dwarf double jumping around with wings? Or a Vulpera? It’ll be like Nightborne or Void Elves, or like maybe Orcs and humans if we wanna to get exotic.

When we (finally) get Broken, they’d be a nice candidate too.

The problem with Broken was they never finished designing the female Broken character. They half finished it in TBC. I think they finally finished it in Hearthstone as a card.

Same problem happened in Cata. Ogre were a strong final candidate for the horde race along with Goblin but there wasn’t, and still isn’t, a female Ogre design, and so Goblin was chosen instead.

Female “ugly” designs are what have held back more than a couple of races.

Yeah, that was a blow to my soul in TBC, and it only got worse in Legion. The line at the end of Seeing Red about a possible reunification of the Broken with draenei makes me think they have it on their radar, but probably many years out yet.

They do look incredible in Hearthstone art, and in the comics. There are even a few fanmade concepts that would be absolutely amazing to see in-game.

Yes, Badu is very cute as a boss minion, although there are others like Ashtongue cards. The problem is Broken need new models in general and haven’t gotten them like the other races got a glow up in WoD and new skeletons in Legion.

I mean, yeah, but it isn’t that to the reason why I don’t see Demon Hunters.

For Death Knights, it was as easy as changing the eye colour, but for Demon Hunters, it is adding in the fel to the eyes, adding blind folds, horns, DH Tattoos to the model, etc.

That is why I said I had my doubts for DH’s, but could be wrong.

i think all the small content we really want is going to be in these .5 .7 patches and unannoucned until each one almost comes out, the wowhead interviews hints at big stuff still coming in DF after 10.2

I’m not as concerned with that because of the customization we’ve been getting like tattoos. If this had been around Legion, yes but we’ve gotten the weird eyes, scars, tattoos that had been available to DH. I’ll grant you the horns and the unique tattoos would take time but I would assume they’d be using the same as the other DH but I could see them wanting to make unique ones which would still put it at odds.

Even then it wouldn’t change my placement at it. It’d be bad but not worse than druid art assets, which are still the single biggest nightmare and hurdle for the art team. I can’t imagine doing druid forms for every single race over a few DH customizations.

It’d be a pretty big undertaking. My first thought went to the animation work, personally.

Also speaking of Death Knights, don’t Allied Races not have unique skin tones for them still, and the new human faces are still incompatible with DK options? Blizzard doesn’t have an especially good track record when it comes to putting in the slightest amount of effort with class customization for new races.

In the end though, it is just more of a wait and see what gets unlocked next.

Honestly Paladin seems like the way to go, they’ve been teasing Night Elf Paladin for years, they keep building the Light vs Void content, but this is also kinda of one of the big chance to do Shaman for everyone since we’re literally going inside the planet itself and shaman is really a class anyone should be able to use and I’m going to tell you why before anyone says 'No they shouldn’t

They absolutely should because Goblins can be Shamans and do it by just making deals with Elementals, and if a Goblin can just cut a deal with an Elemental, I don’t see why anyone on the planet couldn’t be a Shaman. All you need to do is just work out some kind of contact to be one at this point.

Hmmm, come to think about it, I would prefer Shamans be the next to unlock rather than the Paladin’s. As you said, we’re litterly going into the planet, which can be the perfect expansion to allow for the Shamans to be unlocked to every race.

“I see your problem here, you let this Knife get all up inside your planet and she’s made insane deals with multiple people including your party’s Priest twice, some witches, Queen Azshara, and possible more”

What exactly does this mean?

I would think the last one is druid or demonhunter. Paladin/shaman seems like the easiest to do next.

Also the earthen allied race doesn’t have druid, demonhunters, and evokers) so those would be the last classes available to everyone I think. Evokers who knows if they will change their mind on them, I hope they do. Would love to play a nightborne evoker.
