He’s pretty historic as a country/blues singer and often went epic on the yodeling. Not a whole lot of folks know his music any longer. A couple of the more well known songs are In the Jailhouse Now (1928) and Waiting for a Train (1928); Honeycomb (1957) and Kisses Sweeter than Wine (also '57).
My grandad used to work the railroad and often listened to him. That’s honestly the only reason I know a little bit about his history. He and Elvis were both Mississippi born natives
