For a small town, it is what it is. The only “authentic” Italian places that are here, the food tastes terrible. My husband and I surmise it to be chalked up to the majority of people here not knowing wth good food tastes like.

When my wife travelled internationally for business, she made it a point to find Mexican restaurants wherever she went. And yes, without fail, she found them. London, Paris, Warsaw, Budapest, Hong Kong, and others I’ve forgotten.
She reports the quality as … uneven. Sometimes good. Sometimes horrible in only the way that an enchilada made by someone who has never been within eight thousand miles of a real enchilada can be horrible.
Small-town Italian might be the same kind of deal.

It is truly one of life’s greatest treasures in my opinion.
I wouldn’t trade being a father, husband, or grandfather for anything in the world. However, I’m on vacation as well this week! I can take a nap whenever I want to, and if there’s any arguing it’s going to be between me and that damn squirrel trying to nest on my roof.
