Hear me out.
The fogsail join up with the Syndicate and retake Alterac.
Fogsail take over Southshore. Alteraci return home. The Ogres are beaten and brought into the fold.
For the Horde!

No you won’t be a Drarf Denier? I’m glad to have you onboard.
“Nah, I’m sure THESE people that backstab to get ahead won’t backstab us!”
The Ogres get beaten up by the Alterac and Fogsail Humans who have just joined the Horde, and join the Alliance for asylum.
There we have it, the best idea ever. Fogsail Humans for the Horde, Ogres for the Alliance.
Thanks Fenelon. <3
I’m sure the Frostwolves will be totally fine with humans they’ve been mercy killing left and right coming in with pirates.
The OP has been updated.
Me too!
Look, I’m not saying the Horde makes really terrible and stupid snap decisions, but…
As soon as we get the Laughing Skull to join the Alliance:
You have proven your strength in battle, but none can stand against the combined might of the Horde. We of the Laughing Skull clan, however, seek advantage from the turmoil of this war. With the aid of your strongest warriors, our clan can gain dominance over the northern clans of Draenor.
Do not show surprise, Human - only the strongest survive within the Horde.
You must secure the passes across the Blade’s Edge Mountains and destroy the stronghold of the Thunderlord clan that dwell there. We will supply you with warriors and supplies culled from our villages. In return, we will give you the Book of Medivh, which we seized from Ner’zhul’s stronghold before your armies could destroy it.
Folk are surprisingly spicy about this topic tonight.
I actually really like this idea, plus adding the Crushridge ogres to the lot gives the Horde a third clan of ogres to pull from.
Be a nice dream to see two of my favorite Horde race picks to come together.
I honestly have no issues with the Nathanos style human options for forsaken these days.
Maybe we’d get some neat lore along the way…
We can change gender at the barbershop which changes your model, just change that toggle to “body type” and let us choose “Forsaken male”, “Forsaken female”, “Human male”, “Human female” instead of just male or female. BAM, sorted.
Undead are kinda human outcasts. Afterall, they were buried and left for dead.
Aw, cool! Might be awkward for anyone that was in Stormwind during the First War, though~ “Oh, you guys again. looks at death knights, warlocks …whatever. Come in, soup’s on.”.
Yesss. Laughing Skull for Alliance, Fogsails for Horde!
I’d love this.
In Everquest, there were western humans (good, had access to paladin/priest) and eastern humans (evil, had access to shadowknight/necromancer).
There’s even a model all ready to go on a Horde race rig (a Horde race that didn’t get an AR) that both originates in Kul’Tiras (like the Fogsails) and looks good for a bunch of dodgy gits (like Alterac).
I’ve always wanted the skinny Kul Tiran model, but it should definitely be a Horde thing as already a Horde model like you pointed out (Forsaken?) and humans that work w the Horde so closely during the fourth war
I know some folk are going to come in here and claim this is just folk trying to mess with the Alliance players or something but I actually really think this isn’t a bad idea at all.
Alterac is already deep in Horde territory, and there are plenty of humans who stand against the Alliance humans. The Fogsail Buccaneers, Syndicate folk, even the Defias could easily be roped into this idea.
Couple that with a Forsaken military that may be looking for any way to shore up their territories borders with more allies to defend them and I could see them work to bring the Alteraci and other outcast humans together to take over the city.
Plus there is never enough Ogre clans for the Horde. The Crushridge were even once part of the Stonemaul orges in the past.
I love all of this.
In all seriousness, I will absolutely play the most Your Second Grade Math Teacher looking, normal, reasonable low maintenance hair, t-shirt mog with basic pants, wearing glasses human. As a monk or a warrior, something low magic.
And I will let her loose on the random dungeon queue to tank for giant minotaur and zombies and 8 foot tall blue people.
