it’s just the nature of the game. the game’s skill cap is high (and floor low), so there is a constant tug of war between casuals and veterans
BFA really exemplified this imo. Around mid BFA healers became quite strong and forgiving, which made them more fun and accessible for casuals. But then every pro match started going to 80%+ damp.
