HR culture is ruining this game

Add personal loot to tbc. Every dungeon you search for people are hard ressing the best item OR only bringing classes/specs that cant roll on that item. its absolutely horrible. You search for a mechanar and everyone and their mom is HRing the trinket. this game has become so selfish and personal loot would not only resolve that problem but make raid leader/guild leads lives so much better. i dont see it not being a net positive.

Selling HR’s saved this game

HRs are bad, but personal loot is not a solution, nor is it necessary.

The problem is megaserver; all of this, and most other problems, are downstream of people being treated as disposable.

You can just form your own group and not HR anything.

It’s also selfish to want someone else to put in the effort of assembling a group but cater to your own preferences.

I really don’t understand why you guys hate HRs for raids.

I am a pug only player, and I understand HRs. It’s their guild it’s their run they do loot how they want. If there’s a big item they want to reserve, so what let them. Like do you really just think a guild pugging 3 dps should be required to give up a glaive? Just take what you get.

How about you just make your own group. It’s free and everyone can do it. It’s not that hard of a concept.

Be the change you wish to see in the world and start a group and invite everyone that needs the same items as you do.

Forced personal loot is one of the worst additions to the game. Up there with LFR.

This isn’t new haha, people have been doing this since WoW began

Removing DST from the game would make pugs 10x better this phase

Just increase the amount of loot.

Form your own group and set the rules the way you want them to be.

Out of curiosity, how does that personal loot affect?

i disagree with removing it, id say just add it to heroic vendor

If a guild is so bad that they don’t have 3 dps players and have to bring pugs, they don’t deserve to reserve. Any guild that isn’t awful will have people on the bench waiting to step in in case of an emergency.

Morals aside, from a purely practical standpoint, HRs are toxic and ruin the community. HRs are normally seen on private servers where there is no community at all, just a bunch of room temperature IQ sociopathic losers.

previous phase raid loot or increased loot drops would really help with the classic greed + short phases.

Nothing wrong with HR or SR. You’re just upset your not the one in a position to HR.

lol its not just pug… plenty of guilds treat people outside the clique like that daily and expect them to carry them to mega bis loot

lol OK buddy… the best guilds on the servers are all desperately recruiting. The better they are the less likely they are to have a bench. Only super casual players will sit on a bench

Guild HR is one thing- it’s their guilds loots rules.

Everyone is in the position to reserve loot from a raid for themselves.

1 - Create your own group and tell everyone that you are organizing to reserve loot for yourself. Bonus! You are entitled to the boes that drop as well. Use a third party site to track people “soft reserves”

2 - If you don’t want to do that, reach out to the raid leader on discord and offer to purchase the hr for name your price.
