Our raid healing is so far behind all other healers that is hard to justify bringing hpal to mythic raid. Our gameplay loop feels like a bad mobile game. At least when Empyrean Legacy was a thing we had an alternative and a little more healing. Im just asking why these changes were made basically decimating the spec for raid with no explanation and then just leaving the spec in the dumpster for raid. We can look at charts and stats that make it obvious it’s a huge issue. There is no way on the devs end they think the spec is in a good spot. Is this a “roll another class if you don’t like it” or a “we’re too busy to do any meaningful tuning that might bring a semblance of balance.” Im certain its not “we feel its good enough”. Because it just isn’t. Test the spec . Thank you
I got sat from my raid guild due to how bad HPAL is and honestly don’t blame them. I do less HPS by a HUGE chunk even post buff, I bring the LEAST amount of healer dps, devo can be brought by our ret pally and my battle rez is slow too. Holy paladin is a net negative for raid progression, bring another mistweaver stat. Whats sad is ill parse well too on both hps and dps and still be super low, the whole spec is cooked beyond belief.
U can thank the nabs that defended it in beta
We’re still suffering from lacking any serious group healing and many of our talents continue to be atrociously undertuned. Veneration, Saved by the Light, and Tyr’s Deliverance sound cool on paper but the raw numbers they provide are embarrassingly small. We also have talents like Tirion’s Devotion and Glistening Radiance that are complete and utter do nothing talents.
Taking away the Dawnlight dump on Sun’s Avatar also GUTTED our burst raid healing potential.
Ellesmere, one of the best Hpals in the world, being asked to play Ret says a lot about the current state of the spec
