37 is probably the sweet spot. I got my primary 13 alliance, 12 sub-alliance, and 12 horde. The only class not repeating is Evoker so I have 3 of everything else so I can do 3 different specs exclusively. Demon Hunter I have two completely different paths since they lack a third spec so they dont feel the same.
If there is any leftover residual memories I will save a set for Dracthyr classes.
Your experience can be completely different from mine. I find it tedious and slow to level during the event. Don’t really know how to speed it up since I have little control over what memory’s are available. That is okay though. I am not doing the event to level characters. Already have over 20 level 70s.
As soon as Bluzz removed those absurd @ end-of-expansion crest caps: much better.
On the plus side, I got all 4 armor types, leveled a Warlock, Demon Hunter and Death Knight, each transferring their remaining currency to the next alt after the leveling is done.
I had about 30k left and bought the mount. Just have the pets missing but I don’t care enough.
I mean, that’s been pretty much everyone’s experience. It’s about dead even with MOP:R. Now, the event itself is boring af, so I agree with you there.
I did the main quest, one round of echoes, and called it.
Mogs looked eh, don’t really care about marginal bag size increases, and what few pieces were upgrades weren’t worth worrying about, I’ll pick up/craft a sword and board before I even hit the first dungeon quests if prev expansions are an indication
Not everyone’s obviously. I’ve been working on a priest since Monday and she is level 35 today. Though, like I said, leveling isn’t the actual goal. I will delete this character if she ever gets the rest of the leveling cloth set or the event ends. Whichever comes first.
I came to the game at the opening of Burning Crusade and this has to be the best pre-patch I’ve ever seen. I stepped away from the game for a year and a half and came back to A level 70 mage, a level 70 Druid, a level 62 paladin, and a level 60 rogue. in the last three days, I have maxed out all four characters levels and so far my Druid has the highest gear score at 480. I haven’t even touched a raid this expansion and I think I’ve done three of the 10 dungeons. this prep patch had me excited about coming back to the game and it did not disappoint.
I have to go back and get a few more essence for the one pet but they killed transfer of currency for a bit so I am waiting for that to return. Because I want to get my weekly 493 on a couple toons at same time.
Other than that I am done. all my alts are 70 and geared now. I did not enjoy leveling 10-70 in residuals, it is quick but you quickly need to start leeching and not participating because you get undergeared and easily killable fast. The little gear that drops during the leveling is severely under leveled for your current level until you get drops in the 60’s.
I couldn’t figure out how to get back to the correctly phased Dalaran, kind of gave up. I guess I was supposed to set my hearth there when I used the stone they gave us with the starter quest and now it’s not in my bags, I think it disappeared on Tuesday reset. Maybe now that it’s had another day to stew there will be something in Google or wowhead.
You sound like the people that complain about dynamic flight. It is literally the same amount of time though, so have fun with that.
No, you just use the standard dal hs. The purple one.

Khadgar wasn’t there when I used the toy, maybe a different bug then. I also tried the Org port and I also went to Gadgetzan but there was nothing.
Interesting. I’d report that as a bug, but I’d also check on another toon. Could POSSIBLY be a legion era quest blocking it from showing, but I’ve been on toons that were brand new, all the way through toons that I’ve played varying degrees of Legion with no issues seeing them. What did you go to Gadgetzan for?

Absolutely cringe rollout, but ultimately got what I needed and some alts leveled for heritage armors. Still need to round out all of those tmogs though.
Make sure you are not in Chromie time. That will significantly reduce your xp. Need to be in the current time. Even starting at level 10.

Also a reminder that you can convert 9 (480 ilvl) items to Tier set and complete a full LFR transmog for any class you want.
