The problem with this is it would probably create more exclusivity like how higher keys create it with META classes.
Groups would go from only wanting meta classes that can do the most DPS to also only wanting classes that mitigate overly impactful affixes.
Would not care.
Still canāt pick which dungeon I want to do on the difficulty I unlocked when I want to.
It would be pretty boring
The affixes seem fine, for the most part, for the original shadowlands dungeons (i.e., Fortified + Raging/Bolstering should never happen or the time allocation should be increased).
They donāt always seem great when affixes designed for SL are applied to older dungeons⦠Sanguine and Quaking seem particularly egregious in Grimrail Depot since the trash to the 2nd boss (and the 2nd boss itself) is very narrow making it really annoying. Storming could also knock you off the ramp in between rail-cars (or anywhere in the 2nd boss area if youāre fighting near an edge), which again seems like no thought from the devs about āis this dungeon going to work with current affixes if we bring it into the current rotation?ā The dungeon picks should make sense and not just be a popular vote.
The idea of removing affixes and just making it harder isnāt as appealing⦠some affix combos are certainly annoying but at least thereās some variety from week to week. It would be better for them to properly tune ALL affixes so that the top 20-30% of players can complete them all in about the same time regardless of affix. If one affix combo greatly increases time-to-complete, then you just groan when you get a ādead keystone.ā Thatās not fun and Blizz should verify itās not just an opinion, and if it is a problem verified by data analysis, they should fix it.

A balancing of affixes would be nice. Some are a lot easier than others. Like this week is pretty much a cakewalk but we had a sanguine/grievous week at the start of the season and it was a nightmare
I would probably love it. I hate most of the affixes, the only ones I like are the seasonal ones and thatās only sometimes.
