How would you feel about an Ogre race?

I will never understand the sheer hate Vulpera get. They’re so cute

Well cute races are considered joke races, that’s why.

For instance, Panda’s are cute that’s why a lot of people hate them, because cute means that they are for little kids in a lot of people’s minds.

Don’t want ogres. I believe they would be played by very few and not worth the development time.

No they wouldn’t. They can take the ogrre already allied with the Horde and use them as playable.

There’s already a group of ogres allied the the Horde.

3 groups.

Stonemaul (from WC 3: TFT, present in Dustwallow Marsh and Feralas), Dunemaul (“recruited” in Tanaris in Cataclysm) and now the ones that came with the mag’har.

This exactly.

lol you think that in this and day and age, they would get away with creating an only male race with no girls allowed?

Yes PLEASE! I’ve been wanting Ogres since TBC.

It’d say it’s about damn time. I’ve been waiting for Ogres to be a playable race since vanilla came out. They were a quintessential part of the horde back when Orgrimmar was just a pile of rubble in the middle of Durotar. Without the ogres there would be no Ogrimmar or horde.

I’d love it. Ogre mage or ogre warlock.

I haven’t seen any female ogre yet. I really wouldn’t care though unless I was forced to play one then I wouldn’t want them.

They aren’t creating it as it was already created. So yeah, they could easily get away with it.

If you want grotesquely overweight humanoids … the Alliance is waiting for you.

I hope we don’t get any more “allied races”, all they are for is a cheap selling point to expansions. I’d rather Blizzard get some competent developers and make the game good again instead of cheap gimmicks.

I think the Ogres are probably a bit big, having played a Tauren until Troll Druids were available I could see issues due to their size. Obviously you could shrink them down but if you shrink too much then is it really even an Ogre? I think the Kul tirans are based off the Ogre skeleton actually, though I could be wrong. Even then they’re definitely smaller.

Overall I’m in favor though, it’s past time the horde should have some group of Ogres playable, I just see some technical issues due to their size.

That’s correct, if you shrink an ogre, you get an orc.

I don’t care for Ogres in WOW, but I don’t hate them either.
