How would you design your class?

I partially agree, but I don’t think shadow is meant to have high spread pressure. The spec was the most enjoyable back in pre-Legion where they had instant burst derived from power accumulation and setup damage was very favored for the spec. I think their utility is too much when you compare it to other classes, but I’m hoping they can just give some utility back to the classes that are lacking.

For example, frost mages require deep freeze if we are asking for some utility back for them.
For Balance druids, I prefer to see treants back (for roots) and also vortex.
For aff locks, I would love to see coil and howl of terror baseline.
For arms warriors, charge stun would be preferable along with banner charge, intervene, and shockwave baseline.
For all hunters, scatter shot baseline and not dr’ing with trap and scare beast back.
For sub rogue, gouge, tricks, and garrote back (with one dance charge).

I would like earth grab baseline and gust of wind as a talent. In exchange I would like astral shift nerfed to like a 2.5 min CD.

I severely dislike the idea of elemental being dps CD’s - I would rather them be strictly utility. With that being said, I would like Primal Element talent abilities to be a baseline part of the elementals (wall, stun, maelstrom gen, + new buff for fire maybe reduced lava burst CD or lava burst spreads flameshock to other targets). Nerf the damage to compensate.

Cap totem rebuffed to 5 seconds on players.

Remove earth shield from Ele. I’m all for utility but I don’t think this is the right approach imo. Maybe replace with baseline electrocute for ele.

Nature’s guardian baseline again. Spiritwalker’s grace return as a talent in its place.

I would make it so ghost wolf and astral shift let shamans go through walls and pullars cus it makes sense

Frost mage works best when it’s based around various effects that freeze the target and a variety of spells that can be used to shatter. If frost mage is based around shattering then freeze effects aren’t just spells, they’re psedo-resources, doubling as being useful for CC (i.e. nova peeling healers) or as damaging to set up shatters.

The following things would be necessary to make frost mage feel like frost mage again:

  • Frost mastery is returned to increasing shatter damage
  • Frost bomb returned to previous state, no way to detonate early, can be dispelled
  • Frostbolt and ice lance damage increased substantially
  • Ice nova and comet storm can be removed entirely
  • Deep freeze returned and set at 4-5 secs duration
  • Ice barrier nerfed so that it’s not so potent
  • Shimmer removed completely as it promotes a pretty stupid gameplay style and using deep for kills (deep target or deep peel off target) vs. deep-sheep is more compelling as a choice than shimmer to poly or shimmer to kite imo
  • Possibly longer CD for CoC which I think is just available as a super-potent AoE slow too often
  • Fingers of frost also work on frostbolt like WOTLK and you can chain them so you can get an “extra” proc if you use a casted frostbolt for your 2nd FoF
  • Proc generation should be decreased as it slowly builds to the point of mage being a proc based caster like ele sham which I hate

Just some ideas. MoP frost had it pretty close imo.

Actually, I thought pretty much everyone believed lack of gear progression was one of the biggest problems with PVP.

Copy and paste GW2 warrior design into wow.
