Bumping this, the honor know doesn’t seem to be what I remember when I played vanilla, or what is shown on videos. Zinqf laid it out well in the original post and other comments throughout this post.

Blizzard can i please farm full HWL gear before TBC. I dont mind grinding i was looking forward to it actually but as a normal employed human its imposssible right now. Please just cut all the honor prices in half that should make the grind last all pre patch. Dont be mean blizzard play nice for once. Wipe honor before tbc gg. Much sigh

This is trash…I was a mage and use to run with a hunter, I would Blizzard and he would volley, we would get over 100 Honor a kill. We did not want to win because we were camping HK’s. The only reason why AV would end would be due to the other side running out of resources. There wasn’t an incentive to win fast. The more everyone understands this, the faster you can accept the reason for the changes and the meta. The whole point of the diminishing returns especially in “this” classic was to prevent the pre-mades from camping this way. When the other team would camp the graveyard in WSG until everyone ghost walked away from the spawn point and forced the other team to finish the game…that was pointless. The higher bonus gives incentive and a reason to win the matches. Whoever this Andycloud or Blizzard employee is or whoever cried over this is probably because the never thought both sides would skip fighting each other to rush for a fast win. Otherwise if each match took 30+ minutes, getting 2k+ would be expected. I am upset with anything less than 3k from AV and it is a waste of time. No one points out though when this happens, the losing team isn’t getting the same honor. Also, the only reason why any of this could happen is having the geared players to rush in and handle the mobs. The wins go back and forth and it isn’t worth saying either side wins more or less. Once some players get what they need, they will probably go to alts and this will be more difficult to do. It would all work out in the end but Blizzard blew it. You can not compare numbers from a post from the past since it is both irrelevant today and doesn’t include the current changes.

Blizzard really bucked this one up, hopefully, they take real action or the game dies and they can just buck off as failures… I mean it’s their choice and they just perpetually choose badly lately.
