6/2 - still BUGGED, cant COMPLETE QUEST. are they EVER going to fix this

It’s still so bugged but I followed the fence post instructions, hugged the bend while sprinting to get to the toys, and press 2 whenever I could to throw the toys and press 1 to sprint as often as possible.
It worked 
The satisfaction of defeating the bugged quest is real nice LOL
Still bugged out . I’ve attempted at least 50+ times and I can barely make it to the toys before I get 1 shot
Edit: jeez man I finally did it. I hugged the left side as soon as the dialogue starts and was throw far enough so pinky doesn’t touch my tail, and I sped up hugged the gate post to the right and as soon as your able to walk up past the corner I angled myself for my second boost and made it to the toys and spammed the boost/toys whole way through. This needs to get fixed asap
June 16, Still bugged, impossible to do. I can not take ANY hits or it kills me.

Yup mid June and still bugged whoever tests quest bugs needs a serious talk cause this is redonkulious I get past the gate and the thing cuts though the hill and hits me when I get to the toys

June 19th and still having this same issue, really hope it gets fixed soon! Does anyone know if this limits you in any way later on in the game? This is my first day playing the game.

Not sure but I’d like to finish it too lol - still bugged!
I’ve attempted this quest around 30 times and failed every time, rarely can I get out of the first area even when using the trick of hiding behind the second post. One time I did manage to get clear, get the toys, spam sprint / drop toys only for it to bug out in the end and not get credit for surviving. Very frustrating.
Dealing with the same here, probably tried 20-30 times now…the furthest I get is to where I get the toy and it catches me…this used to be so easy…
7/2/24, this is either still bugged or I just haven’t figure it out after 5 attempts utilizing all the above tactics to no avail. Hasn’t this expansion been out for a while? How is something this straight forward so screwed up?

July Fourth, quest is still bugged. I’ve tried pre running to the gate, running past when pinky charges, running close to the fence, etc. Every time my direhorn just jumps directly back and is one shot.
Still bugged. 2nd post trick works to survive the very first part, but basically if Pinky touches you one time you instantly die. I bet its some scaling thing where Pinky’s attacks are so strong that it always kills you in 1 hit rather than it taking the normal 10 or so bites or however it used to be.
This has got to be one of THE WORST quests in the entire game. First, it takes you 30 attempts of getting booted to figure out to go to the forums and find out you have to cheeze the event. When you finally get past Pinky to start the event, he zoots thru the bush, cutting the first corner and ends the chase.

2nd post trick on Barthilus and it pulls me every single dang time, spent over an hour trying to do this, have even manage a couple of times on the pull to turn around, haste away, get a gap and THEN it black screens when he is nowhere near me. the pull immediately makes it black screen NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO AND CAN NOT BE DODGED WITH THE SECOND POST TRICK, yet blizzard is completely absent from this post, just like their coding in their games, absent, lacking, unstructured, come on how long has this thread been going?
As of 7/13/2024 this is still totally bugged. Just spent over an hour trying to finish it, following instructions here but to no avail. Will have to give up on it for now.
