How to skip que times

Because they have no clue.

It won’t get you banned, and honestly it’s kind of funny they brought up cloud gaming because it’s really not related

You’re not going to get banned for remoting to your own computer, they can’t even track it honestly, you don’t need a third party program to even do it.

I know it’s not related, but if there’s a chance Blizzard will consider them one and the same, it’s something I’ll avoid personally. Not worth it to me.

That’s your choice, just no point in spreading misinformation.

With a minor amount of tinkering you don’t even need a 3rd party program.

Not sure how it’s spreading misinformation to let others know what a Blizzard rep said about remote access, but okay.

Blizz can and has made equally odd rules in the past, if they decide they want to ban players for remote accessing their computer to play (assuming they even figure out how to detect it) they can. Nothing can stop them since they write their own rules.

Not saying I agree with them, but that is their current stance on it.

One CM is not their current stance, even the CM isn’t sure.

If he were to come back and say “this is what the team said” i’d give it credence, but it sounds like he barely knows what remoting even is.

CMs aren’t anything more than the mouthpiece, they don’t make or enforce game rules.

Herod has a two hour queue tonight

Faerlina is at 5hr queues now, people trying to not logout cause they’re trying to rank

Same for Whitemane, I just logged in like maybe 15 minutes ago and the que was at 2500 and is giving me like 120 minutes. Lately it has been like a 2hr que for me when I get done with work.

It seems the ques came back after layering was removed and I am just wondering when servers were layered were they able to then say hold more people then un-layered?

I’d bet money on it, but people will argue back and forward that it’s not true

True, but it’s the only word on it we’ve had from Blizz so far.

Plus, as they like to point out in the CS forums repeatedly, the blues there aren’t CMs, they are SFAs. And their job is, in part, to clarify policy questions.

While it’s not an official policy, it’s coming from a bit more than a mouthpiece.

Vrak is a CM though, he’s not a usual CS forum participant.

Edit: i mean, it’s not the only place he works

Ah. I didn’t realize he wasn’t part of the CS staff there, he’s tagged the same when posting there as the rest of the SFAs.

Yeah since at least from my experience it seems that when they were layered they were able to hold more, since I only suffered ques like the first few weeks to a month on whitemane, but then after that I had no more ques.

The ques basically came back in force after the layering was removed, and I think they got worse after the honor patch and I do not not think the removal of the layers and or the honor patch would have brought that many people back to make the ques worse again.

Not really any point in arguing about it anyway, people have been doing and talking about it since Launch, one would figure some other Blue would come in here and say something if it was bad or even trackable.

What does Warden (Blizzard’s anti-cheat monitor) do?

You can remote to your computer using only windows.

Sure they can track teamviewer, but if all you use is your OS? nope.

So they can track it.

If you use teamviewer, but you can do it completely untrackable, it’s just not “2 buttons easy”

More like 3, I remote desktop all the time for work, it’s built into windows.

Thank you!! sorry I was eating dinner and watching the Simpsons!

Honestly I’d highly advise not doing this, there was a case of someone playing WoW from their mobile phone and they got slapped with a banned. Also a handicap person got banned for using a alternate keyboard/mouse, was detected for auto play.

It just ain’t worth the risk imo. But if you feel like risking it, got bigger guts then me!

Give me a link to where you can get banned for this… cause the research i did says its not nice try though and feel free to report me… do you need a link?
