So am I suppose to guess which letter is wrong? Why don’t you just tell us what you are trying to say?
Make us wake up from a dream after the final boss and we’re just in our starter areas in comfortable beds at level one and there’s no quests, no enemies, but a bunch of NPCs confused as to why we think there are world ending threats when we’ve been sleeping for a few hours after taking a fall, eating too much panda food, drinking too much beer…whatever is appropriate for your race
So did you come here to argue semantics over my tiny typos or were you going to make a point about something?
In what context? In the entire thread? You can read that up top. In the context of you arguing over a one letter typo I made? I have no comment.
It was all just N’Zoth’s vision man, I’m telling ya.
I replied to the first comment you made where you were assuming that WOW was not profitable and would be going away. It sounds like we are suppose to accept that as fact.
I’m just wondering why you think WOW is not profitable.
I’m just wondering why you think I ever said that. Please reread the entire thread and reflect upon your learnings.
I never said WoW is not profitable. 35 years from now =/= right now.
Why does this thread make me feel so sad?
“Don’t be sad that it’s over, be happy because it happened.” -Doctor Seuss
TO BE CLEAR SO TIFFANY DOESN’T FREAK OUT
alarms and sirens go off
I am not saying it’s over now, but it will be over SOMEDAY and when that day comes…points to above quote
An End to WOW, as we know it, may be inevitable. but I promise you 3 months later there will be an outcry from players for a rerelease it as “Classic wow” to relive the past.
It will always exist in some form as long as Blizzard is making products. The updates might cease and it becomes a marketing loss leader, where people come in to play a bit and find another Blizzard product they want to buy. Likely we will have at some point a WoW2 and the story will somehow wind up with WoW1 and link in, so having the backstory of the new game will still have some value to just be there. Similar to classic in some ways.
I think of it from time to time, more so at night (don’t know why that so) but here will come a time where one has to say ,“Good-by” but those words just don’t project the feelings the right ways most of the time. When it comes I would hope that the memories I carry with me are sweet ones I can cherish as I head off on another life journey .
They won’t be able to. Why do you think they still exist right now?
I doubt it’d be that long with the way they’re doing things lol
Well, look at what happened to Nostalrius. They got hit with the ol’ C&D and had to shut down. And then like not even a year later we got hit with WoW Classic.
They can’t take down ALL of them. I’d say, they probably only go after the big bois, like I just mentioned. If any one server gets too popular and starts affecting Blizz’s bottom line, they’ll get hit with a lawsuit too.
So if you want a private server to exist and thrive, don’t play it I guess, lol.
WoW may not be the juggernaut it used to be, but it still brings in a profit. As long as it does that, it won’t go away and when it stops doing that, it’ll be dead in the water.
Just host the servers in un-regulated regions.
