Aren’t battlegrounds/WPvP already more or less Battle Royales anyway? I mean, yeah, you’re on teams and all that but from the perspective of a person who has never actually played a battle royale mode it seem pretty much the same.

“Wildly” might be overstating it, but yeah, it definitely gained a pretty solid base.
I think outside of the forums it was very well received by the greater WoW community
Fortnite is and has been “wildly” popular since the BR came out,despite general opinions you’d see online for years saying it’s a dead game or no one above the age of 8 likes the game.
