ok so I try to name change my lvl 60 priest
I delete my priest. Then, I make new char with priest’s name. I attempt to restore my priest. Doesn’t work, won’t let me.
So I open up my other WoW account and make new char on server with my deleted priest’s name. Its saying it can’t.
I waited a week, tried both methods again. Doesn’t work.
So, how do you name change.
You delete the toon then have to wait 90 days
Outside of getting the character reported and flagged for a name change, you can’t.
Your name is saved and tied to your account for a certain amount of time after reaching a certain level on characters.
On a RP server that’s easier, because flags for violating RP rules will trigger an automatic name change.
