How to keep Sanity from reaching zero?

This is a new mechanic I think too. I don’t recall being able to use the orb in combat last time, while here it just has reduced effect.

Pretty sure it worked like that previously, I just remember when you had the cloak and console maxed out, you hardly lost any sanity.

It’s been a while so maybe, and yeah, fully maxed cloak and upgrades made you almost unstoppable. Especially when Gift of the Titans kicked in.

also near the start there is a dead body with a potion… that is the bad potion and there is one(of the rest) that restore 100 Sanity

The potions are huge.

So is the bad potion always red?

No, it changes every run. I always mount up to that corner to see what it is, before ae bursting everything else down.

In the picture, I think the bad potion is actually black. Its right next to the body with the note. If you read the note, it says something along the lines of “omg, this potion made me sick” or something along those lines to give you the info that “this potion right next to this dead guy is bad”

Ah… so the potion by the body basically hints to the player it’s bad.

If you fight in the orb you only get half the sanity from it

Yup. I remember this from BFA

Hardly lost any sanity at all, and I would pull all the way up to bosses in most areas as a prot pally back then.

Every run, keep talking to Augermu to upgrade your Hourglass of Horrific Visions.

You should be able to put 1 point each to Singular Sanitation Expertise 1, Steeled Mind 1 and Expansive Mind 1.

The more upgrades you have the better. Yeah, you would need multiple runs.

You keep doing Visions over and over this Week until you get each point and you able to access Head Corruption Enchants.

I dunno what I was doing at first. I think it took me 6 runs to get my Head Enchant. If you are overgeared, you would pull EVERYTHING and AoE nuke all of them. It’s up to you on how creative you are. Good Luck. GG.

You cant progress more as it is TIME GATED. But you could do Visions over and over until you get all the required items.

Edit:

I realized there are Tributes that needs to be satisfied to 100%. You could do Visions over and over til you get them all to 100%. No-Life people could do it. I am not sure how much should I do per week. Well, if you don’t want to get left behind, you have to no life it.

Topped me up to full everytime so idk about that, maybe if you eat the sanity mechanics inside of it but i never had a problem.

Didnt use them til i started getting the screen affects to say your low just to be sure i was getting the most value.

For you, maybe… for others, not so much.

I personally will be ignoring the whole thing just like the last time.

The main part that wasn’t fun was farming up the key vial and losing that if you screwed up too badly. With unlimited runs, there’s far less pressure to immediately know exactly what to do.

I laughed way too hard at this response

3 masks done, but barely.

Yeah 3 masks I feel like is my personal limit this week. Solo at least.

Did you get 3 done?

I think I can probably do 4?

I couldn’t get in melee range against Alleria. I think I’m missing something on the fight.

ya

Im not sure I can solo 4 mask with these current masks. A lot of the ones we have now are considered the “worse” ones.

She just cycles through all the abilities all the other bosses had basically. But I can definitely see her being more problematic for melee.

I did it twice, both times with about 300 sanity left. Not sure thats enough of a buffer to get it done with 4. First attempt failed because I took a stupid hit from the big void blob in the mage tower area.
