New player… was started in dragon isles and having a great time. Things started to slow down after 70 and now at 76, every single thing in the game is trivial. How am I supposed to get to 80? I liked the game so much I bought Midnight, but I can’t even play that since I’m not 80 yet.
What am I missing?
You’re not missing anything. Not your fault.
It was very bad of the devs not to extend Chromie Time this expansion. They really can’t manage either scaling or phasing.
There are actually a few ways for you to hit 80, but the most straightforward of them should be to take the quest The War Within
If you go back to Orgrimmar, you should get it automatically, or you may have to log out and back in again.
Or it will probably be available from your Adventure Guide - a button on your bottom bar on the right hand side that looks like a red book.
If you follow that quest chain it will bring you to The War Within expansion in Khaz Algar, where the quests will be at the right level for you.
